My initial read was that this is NOT the case, due to the second bullet point for Martial arts. However example 2 on page 99 is explaining MA4 and saying the active trooper (Hatamoto) with MA4 gets both +1B and +1SD. Did I miss something somewhere or is the Example incorrect?
They don't stack because MA5 +12 to CC would just be silly and we would need rules for if a stat exceeded 40.
I was specifically wondering about burst stacking. the example did not stack the CC bonuses and penalties. But, I was just making sure I wasn't missing some rule that made them stack and confirming the example was wrong. Thanks for the reply.
I get this, but my point isn't that. I asked because the example states he gets +1SD and +1B due to level 4. therefore one could assume that MA4 gets the burst mod of the lower levels. My understanding is that does not happen and the example is incorrect. I posted to confirm that I hadn't missed something that states they do stack.
