And you are within your right to be so. Then again, what alternative do you propose? a new model for an existing unit? It becomes potentially attracive only for people who have the unit in their armies. a new unit? Again, interesting only to the people playing armies that contain said unit. Plus it adds to the unit bloat, something the game was just trimmed down to handle. a new character? Same as above, plus haven't we had pretty some complaints about the game turning into a special character show? ...but perhaps you have an out-of-the-box idea you'd care to share here?
The Yamabushi from Sandtrap works well as a special bonus mini - useful as an HVT, in Army for both the relevant factions, and a fine proxy for a Beasthunter, Hardcase, Zellenkrieger or similar. Plus, a very nice sculpt that is fun to paint regardless of usefulness.
Since is a pack focusing solely in a single faction, ISS, why is bad for the exclusive figure to be from that army? Also, normal HVTs exist, and can be cool. There's no need to put there an HVT that looks like a troop, but you cant play it because it has no profile, like Bakunin Illuminatrix or the MO Grand Master
Perhaps a TAG pilot for diorama collectors, with a generic body for all factions, with two arm options and a set of heads to give it faction specificity. We could bring out a new collector bounty hunter with options too. Or a generic collector figurine wtf for collecting, as was done for an interplanetario with that cyberpunk demon, or this musashi chibi.
are you refering to this Cyberpunk demon? That's not from the Interplanetario, that was form Mallorca 2nd Satellite
Sculpts of the deployable turrets (with various weapons) and the two types of cover would be nice too. Hobbyists can make their own, but it would be nice to see CBs interpretation of "Vitroferro"...
I think here's a lot of things they could do. Size 2 or 3 terrain piece, turrets, supply boxes, antennas, consoles, etc.
in "1 faction action pack" boxes: a model of said faction, "exclusive" sculpt. They can do something as basic as the regular troops with a basic weapon (pistol, knife...) like those from the Vallejo paint sets (which were FO, paramedics, etc... anyways). For the March box it would be a Celestial Guard, possibly with a controller/walkie talkie of some sort and a pistol. Or even a KuangShi with the chain rifle in one arm and the pistol in the other, spraying in front while howling to the sky like some sort of deranged Duroc. in "2 faction Operation:X" boxes, you can actually leave the HVT for the box, or give one troop for each side, for example in an Onyx Vs Ramah, add a Hortlank with Pulzar and a Nexus with the boarding pistol, so they can be used as ANY of their profiles. For ITS, we have right now the need for Bounty Hunters, and not just one. Turrets (with varied weapons) have been mentioned, QAZ beasts are another possibility, Deployable Cover is yet another, ancillary units for the TAGs may be useful to many. As for scenery per se, I don't think it's feasible, even if they are ITS objectives, due to the existence of partner brands, but getting some Speedball units to place where they fall and leave there as cover for the remainder of the game, and repeaters, seem an interesting option too.
I’m not against the HVT special minis for those action packs as they sometimes work as an entry point for new or returning players. However, some objectives or deployable sounds pretty cool as an experienced player.

USARF, a playable faction is gonna be retired from the shop, but Varuna, a non playable faction is still available to buy. Can someone explain this nonsense? When CB will regain control of themselves?
I would like to see a box set of HVTs only. I do not want to purchase 6 Dire Foes sets just for the HVT miniature. I currently use 3D camo tokens of the Rokots from Warsenal as my HVTs. Cheaper and look nice. Since some missions have more than one, it was a better financial decision to purchase the 3D camo tokens.
Back in the day, when CB wasn't really releasing HVT minis, and I needed such, I just checked other manufacturers' ranges for modern / future civvie minis. Preferably not carrying guns. Hasslefree, Reaper, em4/Mirliton (they carry on the old Grenadier range), whoever else. I've topped it up with some 3d-printed reisin models, I think those I chose were from Papsikels range. CB's style in civvie minis is cool, but not the only one out there, and if you want to fill your civvie box without breaking the bank, it pays off to have your eyes open to other possibilities :)
While you can always use regular models, like TAG pilots, (or markers) as HVTs, I understand. There was a good range of HVTs back in the day, both sold in their individual blisters, and some in specific boxes (Agents of the Human Sphere, I think it was, while I personally found that box quite underwhelming), so it's possible you may run across old stock in stores, or secondhand products in the market.

So, 2025 is the 20th Anniversary of Infinity. Crazy. Back in 2015, we had an Special pack with a limited edition figure for the anniversary, and it was Achilles. The easiest option for the 20th is also Achilles, now that he defected to CA, but i think that will be boring and predictable. So im betting for Joan of Arc. The V1 version is pretty old now and only available in a 90€ pack. What do you want for the 20th Anniversary Limited Edition??
