I was looking a the ITS 16 missions and thinking about what troops that would be good Ops. I thought I’d ask others on what they think makes a good Ops troop. Ops must be Regular, Non-REM and no token state. Skills or Equipment gained does not add to anything they already have. The Ops are: Hazmat Ops: add Zero-G terrain skill, D-Charges In Frostbyte HO also gains a special order. Key Ops: add Dodge (+3), Tactical Awareness Some of the missions that have a Hazmat also have the Quantum Anomaly Zones. These are the reason for Zero-G. Also, “any Active Trooper that declares or performs an Order inside a QAZ must make a Saving Roll against BTS, with PS 10.” Hazmat Ops. I think it would be beneficial to give it to a trooper that has a good BTS, doesn’t have D-Charges, and probably no-Zero G but some of the missions, that skill doesn’t matter. For the missions that have this, the HO doesn’t really need to DO anything in particular. Just a guy that gains things. The missions that. have the QAZ are also Saturation zones. I think these troops are good for Hazmat. Bixie Dokkaebi Shang Ji Lei Gong Su Jian Hulang Key Ops This one gets bigger advantages with Dodge (+3) and TacAware order. However, the Key Oops has a bigger role by being a target in some missions. The Dodge is wasted on anyone that already has a + and TA is wasted on any that already have it. However, one of the two is still good! I think troops with good PH are good for this. Shang Ji already has TA but has a PH14+3 dodge Bixie already has Dodge (+6) but giving her TA is fantastic Others good troops Hulang Hsien Krit Kokram
My first instinct is Shang-Ji (as always) but they already have tac aware and terrain total (so zero-g too). But what about drum rolls.... Mówang? She is already a beefcake with ARM5 BTS6 Mimetism-3, slap the Tac Aware on the NCO version and she can wreak havoc with 4 orders before you dip into the Order Pool!
Agreed. I think the Mowang is great as an Ops. It's mimetisim helps when being shot at through the Saturation zones too. The Mim-6 of the Hulang is the only reason I mentioned it.
