So to reiterate: Out of a half-dozen, at least, Sectorials that have been removed...two have come back(one before N5 even was a thing known), and you're trying to say that people should just be optimistic?
Where did I say to be optimistic? I said it was a possibility. Especially as it was not completely removed unlike many others moving to N5.
Previous sectorials under "Playable, but out of catalogue" condition has been removed from the game Renewed sectorial coming at Adepticon It is already stated that ISS, Qapu and Onyx will be reworked (not a word about USARF) Taking all these facts into consideration, USARF being reworked is the least probable outcome. Will USARF be removed from the game soon? I dont think so, Neoterra, Caledonia, etc were available for years under the condition of playable but out of catalogue. That will happen for the N5.5 edition, with another fluff advance and French or Scots return, or Ariadna will channel it inner Cadia and blow up.
Sure thing fam. You crapped all over two different posters while insinuating that they're just being whiners and throwing out some random nonsense about how CB have "already revived sectorials"...while seemingly not knowing that it's the exception rather than the rule for sectorials to have come back. Right, it just wasn't said to be removed from catalogue until the release of the delayed content. Totally normal.
Easy, guys. Whatever we post here won't change the outcome. Some of us believe they'll rework USARF soon, some believe otherwise, CB will do whatever they're planning. Let's focus on what we have right now and not fling shit at each other. Though I fully understand Ariadna players' anger right about now.
One having the belief that the rework will happen soon is fine, but crapping all over other people feeling negatively about this rugpull is not the same thing. It's my understanding now that basically the only "official" communication from CB is on their discord right?
Full agree. And this goes both ways, feeling disappointed and angry after losing some armies or not getting updates on what's left is completely understandable, but dunking on everyone not being so negative makes people defensive. That's why I think the best way is to take a step back, deep breath, and stop fighting over this.
Crapped? All over who? Insinuating what? I'm not responsible for your own interpretations of my words. And what nonsense? 1- CB revived some sectorials in the past. 2- USARF wasn't axed from Army unlike many others. 3- Ariadna only has 2 sectorials if we remove USARF definitely. Considering they could be revived makes perfect sense. What's random nonsense is considering that's impossible. You don't own a magic crystal ball and you don't know better than anyone else here. Time will tell. Take a chill pill, "fam".
Yeah, time will tell. Like how Merovingia, Neoterra, and Shock Army are all suuuuuuuuper play---waaaaaait a minute.
USARF wasnt retired because it wasnt marked for elimination like Varuna, FRRM, CHA and Acontecimento. NOW it is. So the next time something new had to be introduced in Ariadna, USARF will vanish Revived armies came back after several years of being out of the game. Not the case with USARF Well, just like Aleph, O-12 and JSA. And yes, O-12 and JSA are new factions, but Aleph has been around for 10+ years. And Tohaa lost it's only sectorial.
But also no one was saying with any certainty they'll surely get an update soon. In this case it would, but so far we had no hints that something like this might happen. USARF getting Shas-like rework is much more likely in my opinion. What we should be asking CB about are those pdf's with lists for removed armies, so people still have resources to play them.
Shasvastii rework lasted an entire edition. Merovingia rework ala Shasvastii style was promised and never happened. It could happen to USARF? Yes. It will happen at time for Adepticon? Dont think so
Well, back in the Ariadna assassination thread there is someone saying it's "probable" USARF Is getting reworked, while we have absolutely no reason to think that because: - CB has stated which sectorials will get reworks, and that's Onyx, IS and Qapu - USARF has been stated as out of production, no sectorial has ever been reworked while being tagged as playable but out of production, only Shasvasti got shelved/unplayable and then returned - if you are gonna rework a sectorial anytime soon, why would you shoot your own foot by taggin it "out of production"? USARF being reworked has the same possibilities than Tunguska, Ramah, IA, WinterFor or Shasvastii and less than MO. Saying it will be reworked is nothing more than wishful thinking that could lead some people to invest in a faction marked for death because they heard "rumours" it was gonna be reworked. That's bad.
No, we are not all reading wind and leaves, we know which sectorials have reworks lined up because Corvus told us. USARF is not one and even more, it's out of production, that's not a sign of going for a rework but more like the opposite.
FRRM got indeed fucked over, and it was the most thematically and visually interesting of Ariadna sectorials in my opinion. At least they were left as Reinforcements... but that was a poorly thought out game mode, and it's not in N5 proper so far
and if it happens, it will be the final proof that CB no longer cares about his game and they are doing the things they do, not because is good for the game, but because it sells well. They kneeled down and blowjobed the USA market, now they cant do things that americans dont like. Everything must be bigger, more epic, more, more, more. Infinity was a great game, until mid N3. Then they started to take in consideration American feedback more than European and local feedback, and started to fuck up.
I mean, we literally had SAA get a start on being reworked and then -chop!-. All the while Varuna was getting set up to take its spot and units in some cases. MRRF was promised to get a rework from the time it was retired. NCA was implied to be getting a rework at one point, and then kersplat. Ehhh...Shas rework took a loooooong time to really happen. Kinda feels like the bigger question is why they weren't up front about USARF, at least from my viewpoint.
the hell are you talking about? If they took American feedback more than European "and local feedback"(implying that European isn't local to Spain, I guess?)... They'd have fixed their SKU bloat a long time ago.
