Longwang is manned, it has Cube and doesn't have Remote presence. The ancillary bit is not the current Remote TAG "pilot", it is a deployable G:synchronised model to do mission stuff. With the rules revealed so far, it seems there are no more pilots jumping out mid-battle (and risking losing the TAG with their demise) just little button pushing helper bots.
So as much as I want N5 to come out (desperately actually) I hope the CB folks are reading the forums. This tag pilot - buff - apsara but better, might need a reconsider. I for one would like to see character level pilots, but they are load out options for a tag. So you could have like a O-Yoroi which is the base profile with different weapon options, but then you have one option with a named pilot. Maybe has specific loadout cause that is all this pilot uses, the option costs more as the pilot is better, stat line is better, Tag is better, but still uses the AVA of that kind of Tag, and you can only have one of the named pilot tag in the cases where you ava 2, this sounds like a great way to get there without making a confusing, field wide bonus. The core of the idea is there with Tony and Agememon, just an enhancement. Lore based, and makes more sense than the "TAG whisperer" who magically gives benefits to field wide TAGS
I'm still thinking the Longwang is unique. The bot is only a deployable doc/eng helper bot. It's not like an auxbot or Chaksa. If TAG pilots couldn't get out of their TAGs, then why give them weapons and skills? We have already seen that Max can get out of his TAG too.
Maximus cant get out at will, is forced to get out due Transmutation. Is an operator, not a pilot. I think simply pilots are not a thing in N5 anymore, and manned tags will have ancillary units to interact with objectives. Why put TAG pilots as a separete profile? So you can use the figures you have. Some TAGs come in the same box with the pilot, so instead of reboxing the product, you have a playable profile for them
This is pretty big. Jump changes to 6 inches no matter the first move value. My Ye Mao are going to be happy. But anything over 6 inches is cut down to 6. Super jump can add another 4 inches if you do a move+move. A 10 inch super jump can cover a lot of ground.
Working out at the gym gives him 1 in armor and no wound incapacitation. Fusiliers should do this, it would allow him to abandon the bulletproof vest.
And a little pricy but she seems like a pretty good specialist. Character (Veteran), SO, Nanoscreen allows her to walk up to objectives fairly well with a dodge +3. X-visor on a plasma carbine is great. Though we don’t know if there’s changes to plasma yet do we? For me the main thing is the figure. She's not in any of my armies but I love the figure enough to use her as a proxy for something!
So Jump is no longer from the top of the Silhouette, but is standardized and usually 6 inches. It also doesn't explicitly state "Troopers cannot benefit from Partial Cover MODs during an Order in which they declared Jump." This is huge. N5 will be the mobility edition.
