My guess is that somewhere behind the lines there is an army of paper pushers (aka "the PowerPoint Rangers") who are quite keen on troopers returning after each mission withe the majority of their kit (which way bought with taxpayer money ;) ). And thus they carry the stuff with them - I imagine the paperwork associated with loosing that stuff is far more annoying that 100kg on their back :-P Plus imho those jump packs look quite cool :)
Unless some changes will be made, I think the game already have many profiles with AD and "heavy weapons", no need to have it too in the new ones, I guess that could be the reason, who knows, but truly I didn't noticed the tendency until you said it.
Mimetism, smaller, both have AP ammo, cheaper, the knight commander is not that widely played to really use NCO...
My Seraph will be happy… those rules look quite robust. Will be interesting to see how it actually plays. Plus, still has its auxbot. Those little bots have won me so many games…

No problem with that... But new TAGs are needed for PanO. PanO is no longer the TAG faction... it is the 3rd in number of active TAGs. CA = 7 Nomads = 6 PanO = 5 + 1 (Maximus is under Aleph banner)
Tik is rumoured to lose AP, and we don't know the extent of other MO changes. edit: meanwhile: Between FD and Mim-6 this has a potential be a very nasty alpha striker. Good thing that defensive Duos will be a thing.

All the PanO TAGs have specific niches now. The Jotum is the closest to a "standard" TAG. Also, with all the Fireteam changes, native BS 15 is really, really powerful and worth the price. This is a nice addition for Haqqislam. Flying around and bombing at point blank should be fun. I assume this is the single-seater attack helicopter. Do you the Zaybak will be a new S 8 unit?
Uhhhhh, is STR 1 a typo? Because if not this thing looks like it's easily the worst Aerial unit shown so far. It's going to run really fast up the board just to die to a Mine or Chain Rifle.
Would still like for PanO to keep Uhlan, it was really nice conceptually, despite any flaws. Hopefully it'll make a comeback Sure, it has to be mindful of templates, but I'm glad that not every flyer is the same. There's space for glass cannons too.
