BTW how the hell is the Liu Duan supposed to work in a haris with holoprojector? Does the real one or one echoes need to be within 8" of the leader? Or, it can't use the holoprojector while in a fireteam.
Doesn’t the fact you need a minimum of one other troop to form the Fireteam mean you wouldn’t be able to just Duo them?
BS Attack (+1SD) ?? If that is means +1 Saving Die, good gravy!!! EDIT2: +1 SD is special die. Still good, but not as ridiculous. Still a very good and accurate killer with AP and T2 and no SWC. EDIT: This can kill anything in the game with a single burst. Wowser.
Completely agree; models that don't have any ability to functionally roll a BS Attack should have their BS value set to "-". Various Template-only models seemingly becoming more or less expensive off of a stat they can't even use is rubbish.
Bakc in the day in 7th Sea or Legend of the Five Rings (both in the first edition at least) we used to simplify that mechanic as +1k0 (add one dice to the rolled dice, but not to the kept dice, shortened to +1 keep 0, or +1k0). Late 90's
Design 101, do not use white text on grey background! It's actually against the law in some countries. You can be sued by those with visual problems. You were close. So an extra dice that can be used for Burst, Dodge, Discover, PH check, CC. Then remove one. So much for simplicity.
Yup. Very nice for improved hot consistency, though. Also, that non-MSV (updated to MSV2, too!) AP SMG profile will see zero play, unless those 5 pts will be somehow critical.
On which? I'm a graphic designer. You always want high contrast for text to make it easier to read. For the laws, I don't know. In the US it's considered discrimination against the visually impaired. Because it's hard to read but I think it mainly applies to government sites but commercial have been sued before. It's in some other countries as well but not sure how it's done. But, I don't have an impairment but I even found it difficult to read these.
