I like them. They sort of remind me of the Secudroid. The parachutists is cheap enough to give it a try. I can see it just causing havoc. Something to get into the back and throw some EM down on missile bots or something. Unless they make Thorakitai good, I can't see adding them to a fireteam. The Daks will be controlling a bot so they can't use them either. The coolest thing I see is, there's now going to be Para mines. I hope there could be para grenades too. Either would fit in well with my Starmada or ISS.
So, it seems K2 stands for "Kourai Khryseai" (the unit name in the logo). They are women shaped automatons created by Hephaistos.
They can try to hack my HIs: tinbot -6 says hi ! WIP15 Interventor is nice and all but at effective WIP9 even they aren't that great, even is they succeed somehow BTS9 (6+3 firewall) will protect from DAM13 Carbonite quite reliably. Ariadna camo spam on the other hand.... that is my bane .
Or simply "golden maidens". Hephaistos' thing is to craft animated stuff from precious metals. Be they maidens, dogs, horses, or in one case - 3 legged tables on wheels.

Who is BTS9? If they’d move the tinbot over to the hacker that actually needs it, sure! But somehow hackers still get through on me. I mean it’s a free ARO for them so why not? And somehow, they still roll fine. I’ve just had bad luck I guess.
Tinbot gives Firewall too which is a "cover" in hacking, so it increases BTS not just giving a minus to the attacking hacker. Taisheng and Shang-Ji have BTS6 which the Firewall increases to 9. Quite impressive . And because it is a Tinbot ability the hacker gets it too if it is in a Fireteam with the tinbot bearer.
Yes I know, but its actually a -3 to the damage of the program. Not a +3 to the BTS. That's what confused me. It ends up being the same thing but I thought you were saying someone had a BTS9.
Oh yeah sorry it is -3 Damage MOD, not a BTS bonus (like cover gives ARM bonus). It was just too analogous to each other so mixed it up. Sorry . Still Tinbotted Shang-Jis and / or Taisheng is pretty safe from hackers .
Not too shabby :) I wonder though - what happens if it gets Immobilised, eg. with Adhesive ammo. Does it crash? Does it becomes engageable in CC...? Yea, yea, I get it - less simulation, more game ;)
At FreakWars they talked about even when unconscious the model will stay airborne, "something, something, gravtech". BTW, I want a Chaksa riding a Pterodactyl for Tohaa :p
Yup, I guess. Less simulation, more game, keeps the rules more streamlined... I'd love it more simulation-like, but I get it - I'm in the minority.
