The Dragon King shoots the enemy Big Gun ARO in the face, as the two cats shoot them from the side and back. If Kuang Shi largely stay the same it will be a lot of fun fielding as many of these new TAG's and semi-TAGs being fed actions by exploding slaves as possible. Adil Crane Armor 6-2! Pricey but has a [Fire] Spitfire and a bunch of upgrades that N4 Cranes have, so we can guess N5 Cranes have a similar profile. Perhaps monofilament or PARA become Crane standard, so Cranes are your ISS fireteam melee deterrence and walking even faster into hacking zones to slice hackers.

Looks like BS(-3) will have a coutner and it's warhorse (old veteran skill), quite nice actually. If veteran stays on profiles from N4, every Morat is immune to BS(-3).
So, BS attack: Continuos damage + discoballer makes smoke lethal? Is a BS attack at the end BS attack -3 now has a counter. Nice. But no one of my armies have warhorses. FUCK
Does the Continuous Damage carry over the ammo properties? So Cont Nanopulser will require BTS save rolls after the first fail? If yes, it means that the Azra'il Feuerbach cause half ARM 2 dice rolls for the cont. rolls? (Sorry I'm just returning and I'm a little bit rusty )
Wrong: it will have a counter in N5. Today, it doesn't. Also, as of now, no-one has a Warhorse. How will it look in N5, well, we are yet to see.
As far as we know (it's in the image above, and alredy quoted by Bostria Himself) who is today a Veteran, tomorrow woll be a WarHorse (and the day after tomorrow maybe a Plated Rhinoceros)
We know precious little. Back at the CA discord channel people are asking if Morats will be an army almost completely immune to BS(-3) skill. Who knows? We're unable to pass judgement about N5 until we have the full rules and updated Army at our disposal. Any absolute claims, either that it'll suck or that it'll be awesome are baseless.
Sforza shows kestrel logo. Not included in all the kestrel infography until the date. Still not available in Military orders... Also, Sforza wildcard in Kestrel, for some reasons
Yeah, they stepped up the quantity of previews, works well to keep the hype up, just as you've said. Speculation I'm all for
Well he got some nice buffs for while getting cheaper. Lost Courage Gained Religious, Immunity (ARM), Combat Instinct, BTS 3, and +1 Burst on Heavy Pistol and Adhesive Launcher. The Holoprojector also got Forward Deployment. The new point calculation will be interesting.
He already had the +1 B on the ADHL. But yeah, he gained a bit and the holo version stayed the same price and the FTO went down a point.
His ADHL has become an Adhesive Launcher Rifle, which has a Native Burst 2. So it now a total of Burst 3.
Ah didn't notice the rifle part. That's pretty cool. He did get quite a bit for the same price then. I'm not happy with the price increase of Adil though. Sure he gets a lot but yet again it's more expensive stuff in an already expensive faction. Instead of being known as the HI faction, YJ is going to become the Limited Insertion faction because they can't afford 15 figures.
Crane Adil seems to have a purpose now. Yujing got another S6 TAG with unique and powerful kit. Shaolin (if they have no changes) got a great buff (actually Yujing has a LOT of MA3, wow). Yujing, currently still has the largest breath of HI. They have arguably one of the best Lts in the game and tons of useful NCO. There is still also hope for changes to Zhashis and Celestial guards. N5 already looks like it will shake a lot of builds and Faction assumptions up.
Adil not getting a price increase with this profile would've been completely absurd. He's got an entire array of devastating ranged weaponry that covers everything up to 24", including a template, all with Continuous Damage. If he wants to fight outside of that, he brings an X-Visor to help him out. If he runs into something he can't shoot through, he's got a Disco Baller (and a Deactivator!) to simply ignore it. He can drop his opponent by -9 with his Para CCW at Burst 2k1, then finish off damn near anything in a single attack from his Monofilament. He presses buttons, brings a Sensor to combat markers, can stealth through repeater nets, is hard to hack with BTS 6 and Warhorse, is immune to Guts, keeps his Fireteam alive with Number 2, has solid bulk with ARM 4 and 2 wounds, and to top it off has great mobility with 6-2 MOV and Dodge (+2"). And he Wildcards. He's very nearly a one man army, and there is extremely little that can stop him from going where he wants to go and doing what he wants to do on active turn. He shoots, he smokes, he CC's, he's fast moving and he's tough. Even Bears have to be careful now that they aren't immune to Para ammo anymore. I see where you're coming from, in that Yu Jing already has a plethora of expensive HI options, which can make building lists difficult. A cheaper Adil who brings less to the table might've been better for ISS or WB as a whole. But as printed, Adil is 100% worth his cost here. Hopefully the rest of the N5 changes (and the ISS rework coming next year) makes YJ list building a bit more comfortable.
