Disco baller leaves disco ball, which can be reactivated and also destroyable marker. It can be something that opponent can’t ignore and has to spend orders to remove potential eclipse next turn. Also it requires LoF “OR” ZOC, WIP+3 bonus and range mod for reactivating. So it’s WIP+6 to reactivate to 16”, WIP+9 to 8”, which really high chance to reactivate it. Also, deactivator might be changed to not require LoF to remove mine or repeater so who knows? For the Bangbomb, negative modifiers are applied to opponents, not the user. Dodge -3 can give similar effect in the case of being shot, but they have slightly different odds, maybe larger if it is cc attack with 20+ target value. I’m not sure about nanoscreen+no cover. I heard N5 nanoscreen only gives -3 mod but not grant +3 on saving roll but it can be different. All in all, I like the new stuffs. Discoballer is nice with additional area control, bangbomb is interesting, nano+no cover to open up design space and balancing.
That would make so much sense, deactivator would finally be useful and it would change (a bit) the way mines and other deployables are played. Please CB, I've NEVER seen a deactivator been used in like 100 games in N4, make it happen. It's a cool interaction.
Since deactivator now also turns things on can we change the name to "Remote Control" and then it can deactivate for an unmodified wip roll or steal enemy deployables for a modified wip roll?

Wow a Yu Jing TAG with a imba rule. What a day. I still wonder what criteria they use to give units BS -3. But since its Yu Jing, I do not complain Its n4. 3 so far? Silpower Overprime, Kestrel Shooter and this one. I am curious for the Kriza profile in N5. But back to Longjohn. Adhl Rifle looks nice. With B2 should't it be a Carabine? I think the pilot will be the generic profile listed in vanilla. Maybe different and interchangeable ones. The REM for Objectives is interesting. Maybe we see more TAGs with this Feature. While BS attack (-3) is powerful, I am less worried about it in what we see of N5. It looks like nearly every faction will have some LoS blocking options, so they don't have to always fight the big Gun on ARO. For the Longwang and SilverStar Prime, they don't have AP weapons, so they will have limits against killing Armor. The Hetkari has a multi red Fury, but Damage 13 can be disappointing (it does have the Missile Launcher though). If the Kriza Boracs gets it back, it also likely wouldn't have AP. Note that all of the ones we have seen are on hackable platforms. If pitchers and repeaters are still prevalent in N5, that gives some mitigation options. This waiting is hard.
Not size or price I was hoping for, but oh well. Disappointing as usual for YJ but at least I’m used to it. As usual YJ gets expensive stuff in expensive faction. I like the BS -3 (I mean who wouldn’t, I guess non-YJ). But I could have done without and had a cheaper TAG. Biovisor: I hope they have changed this! Otherwise, it’s just nothing. The HMG version is nice, but I think I really like the +1 Burst Mk12. Again the NCO is nice but we will see. The remote. Ok it’s different (so far). Essentially, it’s deploying a special Yaozao with crap WIP, and Dodge +3. Seems cool.
It's going to be very handy and safe for punching down, even if it hates Missile crits as much as anything else. Still, it'll be an absolute pain in the neck for anyone skimping on their overwatch. Also me, given PanO's surprising shortage of high-Burst AP weaponry outside the TAGs- MULTI Snipers and Feuerbachs really hate modifiers that can force a miss and get their weedy MI carriers hit by a HMG in active. It really would have been nice to get a discount alternative to Kuang Shi, though. Celestial Guard aren't quite affordable enough to bring more than one or two of the fun Agent heavies along with them. Though, that could well have changed for all we know.
No need to be sry. Somehow I read the B +1 excl for MK12. Silverpower and Longjohn have the equivalent of DAM 16. Thats something. Overall it looks like good value for its points. But yes a cheap TAG like the Wrecker would also be nice. I am courius hiw Guijia and Blue Wulf we be in N5.
I know this. But Disco looks comlicated and order intensive. Besides who wantscthe Eclipse always on the same point? A disposable EGL would be easier to handle and offers restrictions. The Bangbomb gives actual a positiv mod. If it should be a flashbang it should give negative and need no extra explaination about templates. Nano adds thecequivalent of arm 3. But Disco would be a good idea for repeaters. Let them go off in the states phase and reactivate via hacking order. Nerf installed.

In general all information in isolation is good, but one will need the entire ecosystem and a few games to really draw conclusions for N5.
