Dear CB, since we have few weeks until the release, how about showing us some new content? In particular: 1) One sectorial from each faction 2) How TAGs and the new TAG pilots work 3) Vehicle stats and extra rules 4) Philosophy behind the new Essentials line
what we should see these days: The 3 profiles for the JSA Beyond part Random profiles from other factions, like the new Ariadna minitank, the ISS TAG, maybe some reworked Qapu profile
The hype is dying, some fresh N5 content would go a long way of keeping it alive. What I'm really interested in are old underpowered / overpriced profiles and how CB "fixed" them. Like Scouts with their ohojonik, Tankhunters, Iguana, Lobos, Lunokhod, Grenzers (most of MI units) and hundreds more.
Another tricky profile. Decent shooter that adds a toolbox and some surprises. If he can Pure Duo with Achilles, it will be interesting.
Disco Baller looks cool, we'll see how practical it'll be, but I expect it to be pretty useful, particularly in PanO. Interesting list of units getting it. Also, grey text on grey background is so readable XD
Off to the hobby shop for large faceted glass beads :) Also, nice to give a use for engineers even without TAGs or REMs in the list.
giving kestrel (which will probably be the sectorial with the most visors in the game) a white noise grenade would have been pretty funny
Wouldn't it be more easy to just give them an EGL? Do we need a Pitcher, that fires reactivatable Eclipse Grenades that need a Deactivator to activate again? Remove Deactivator from the game, so there is no need for new tools that no one needs. I wonder who will have enough orders to send his mechanik in ZoC of the dball to activate it again. I think more and more that the majority of new tools insn't needed at all. Flashbangbomb = Dodge -3, Discoball = EGL - you want to limit the use? Put (Disposable X). Changes that be made to just makes changes is not the best idea. Where did this things help to polish the diamond? Also nano + no cover to make a cheap arm 2 HI to fake arm 5. Also switching states by WIP all just to cheat points? Thunderbolt. Basicaly a swc free HMG with B2. Most of the featured profils gain b+1 and are linkable - boom B4 or 3+1. So why start with B2 anyway?
Without the boni yes. It seems just too order intensive. And all this to prevent the use as smoke Dodge. €dith: Just took a look at the Deactivator range. 3+ would be still good yes.
Discoballer is neat. It being on the Aquila Guard and Boyg are interesting choices. Weirdly none on any of MOs troops, the one PanO faction that actually wants to close the gap. I guess Deactivators should get renamed to "Multitools" now, although I'm partial to "Dereactivator."
People complaining about anything new or different, how surprising. Love the disco ball thing, even if the mechanics seems indeed a bit convoluted. Nothing to write home about though.Asawira has it, seems like this profile is not getting worse in N5 :p I also love how something B2 Dmg 14 is suddenly an HMG. I barely can notice the differences, will you be able to spot them? It's also very similar to a Panzerfaust if it has B-1 and loses the EXP ammunition... And yeah, some minis using it (we saw like 2 or 3 out of how many?) will have additional burst. Some will be linkable. How is that any different from like anything else in the entire game?
