My good sir, and why exactly, do you think, have I used the term "amateurs"? Everyone presents themselves as "the good guys" in their own propaganda. Nihil novi sub sole and in the history of propaganda...
Yes I know, that was a sarcastic remark. With the striked through adjective right before it I thought it was easily understandable that it was meant to be a joke. My bad, I'll be more straightforward with the jokes in the future :)) .
Just mark them as jokes (note or emoticon). Sarcasm isn't that easy to grasp in just the written form of communication - also keep in mind that English is a foreign language for many of the forum members.
they are ORCs with "superpowers" hehe. They look simple but useful, visor and some mobility, which is always welcome.
Will do :) . English is (technically) my 3rd language, perhaps that is also a factor why my joke didn't work. Sorry.
See also: EVERY single elite unit profile claiming that this unit is made of the best and the brightest, the ones with the unshakeable sense of duty and impeccable service record. A unit with a reputation that spans the cosmos, who bring hope and victory to their allies and fear and defeat to their foes. Then their profile gets released and they're just some MI with decent stats and a few funky rules.
So CB broke the seal for HI with Markmanship with the Dokkaebi. The fluff passage uses the term "marksmanship" or a variant so many times, I am hoping it is pointing to Hetkari having the rule. That would be incredible combined with PanO HI BS.
A minimum BS13 (‘cause Teutons) HI with Marksmanship would be disgustingly fun. Consider they’d more likely be Aquila-esque on BS15? Good times.
The setting was originally conceived as a Roll Playing Game so of course the Hyperpowers are the bad guys.
It seems to be confirmed that Kestrel will be plagued by Multispectral Visors from what Bostria comments in today's video. Fireteam options from the video:
A.I.R Sniper + 4 Fennecs is looking real tasty especially since the Fireteam chart didn't look to specify FTO for B.A.I.Rs so MSV2, Mim-3, BS 14, Combat Instinct, Neurocinetics for that sweet B2.5. Griffins being pure with Fennecs is on point with the Professional nature of the forces. Fennecs gonna be a substantial backbone of fireteams
Duos are going to be very important in this edition... duos of Griffins, Fireflies, Magistrates and/or Jackals are surely going to be seen a lot in Kestrel. Duos of Squalos and Tiks maybe they can be seen.
