MSRs having suppressive fire is definitely interesting. I think .it will be hilarious to imagine using an MSR holding an objective room
One more thing. MSR is Burst 2 in AP/Shock, or Burst 1 in DA mode. But set it in Suppressive Mode, and it becomes Burst 3 (like any other Suppressive Weapon), of course only in AP/Shock. That feels a bit excessive to me - it becomes as good as an AP HMG in Suppressive Fire mode, for example.
To be fair, it's still 1.5SWC and a fair chunk of points for... an N4 SMG with +2 damage. They're not going to compete well with T2, Viral or Plasma Snipers by any means, especially with the easy linking, but it does open some interesting design space for unlinked heavy snipers. A Swiss Guard MULTI Sniper would actually be pretty strong.
Very much so… Scarecrow has +1 BS, +3 BTS, a Nanopulser, updated AP mines, and a silenced pistol for 2pts less than an N4 Croc-man. Now just give the Locust a Camo state already, CB!
It makes me wonder if these will be getting Suppressive Fire capability as well. Can't say I'm thrilled about such a perspective.
Well... keep in mind this Black.AIR if nothing changes in neurokinetics in N5, so it remains same as N4, this guy will do pretty much nothing in active turn, since he can´t have burst bonusses. So you will be choosing better ARO than a nisse, for example, but paying not being able to do a thing in active... This is a huge tax to keep in mind while doing the list... and being there in ARO waiting for the rival to shoot you means he can choose the best option he has... So... while doing the list we will have to choose wissely :) since it will not work as a shooting plan A.3 in active. To play defensive list will be, of course, better than a nisse. To play offensive or a non focused list, nisse will be still better, even same point. And like others point well, 1.5 CAP in Panoceania isn´t cheap. To me neurokinetics is a skill that usually is expensive. If you check the sunduqbot normal profiles are cheapest or have others thing that the neurokinetic one looses. I never understood that. With this in mind I guess we will see some disccount in Nisses. How much, dunno. But we will have to wait to see the full picture to judge. For what we saw new JSA scary me most. It looks like the submachine discount is still there... :)
Good for me XD My mind played me a trick. I was thinking somehow in trinitarian... or some kind of confussion, I was talking about what weapon the BlackAIR has in the image on the video... So... forget what I said.
From the leaked image: So, in order: Fennec Fusiliers, Drummers Medical Support Section, 'Something' (looks like Magistrates, maybe?) of the NCA, Blink Team, Banshees, Black A.I.R. Fireflies Clandestine Action Team, Griffins, Hetkari Shooters, Father Knights Crux Team, Squalos MkII, Tiks, Redeyes Close Air Support, 'Something' Jackals, a red symbol I can't decipher for the life of me, REMs, Trauma Docs, Machinists, WarCor, Tech Bee, New Indigo, Dart, Max, some kind of named Doctor 'Arched Raider' (Lara Croft, anyone?), Quinn. Edit: the red symbol is the Yamabushi.
Most interestingly, from what can be seen in the pictures, it appears indeed that each sectorial may have its own distinct identity if the Kestrel Force and JSA are anything to go by. Things are looking good. I’m excited to see the father knights back and on the front lines again.
I'm most interested in the Redeyes Close Air Support team. Drone controllers! Now that I think about it, I wonder if Warcors will get a drone controller profile...
Fusiliers + Fennec Fusiliers in PanO vanilla???? Very very strange... unless they have a very different weapons list.
It looks like the old advertised NCA flying drone that never arrived. Better late than never. I assume it will be the vehicle unit for PanO.
<something something> had attention, now also curiosity ? Will father knights get a redo every edition ? :D
Three you also have MAX. I like both the inclusion of the jackals and the presumable increase of hexahedron units, both strongly demanded by the community.
