I think people are jumping the gun, that image looks a lot like a Guijia.Dont think theyll make a new Tag that looks almost the same as Guijia but with a few stylized components.
I counted 47 units in Vanilla PanO (three columns of 16, one missing from last column), so you're probably close after re-adding the Daebak guys. From what I can tell, recent products are prioritised above everything else so they're there for sure, as will most things with a Code One box. It is worth noting Mobility Joan and Heavy Achilles haven't been seen anywhere in the material we've seen, so alternate Characters may no longer be a thing.
For ISS I'd like more Engineer/Doctor options, we have only one which is a sophotects for a faction with a decent amount of HI and Remotes it seems like an oversight!
I feel like you would keep Major Lunah. For all purposes, she is a Yujing Unit. She is only in Vanilla Yujing and ISS.
The summary of the Bostria interview says besides the 2 new sectorials from the box, both YJ and CA are getting some reworked rules, so dare we dream about an ISS revamp?
Could possible be a new Guijia. But the design is at bit too blocky. Guijia is more well rounded ;-) Plus: Public Security hints ISS - if they get a deeper rework with N5 it would be perfectly match together. With 50 new units, there is space for a third YJ TAG - we have to keep up with JSA. I fear the day Guijia will get its 2nd resculpt - this time in unicool. Not for the material, but for the look.
Best part is that we have niche. Cheap, no CC bullshit long range Shooter. Or not that cheap but with something even more shooty like visor/mimetism/marksmanship/b5/multiwound ammo.
If it would be a TAG, I expect something s6. But would it be good?.. I hope so! And I also hope, that N5 would have a place for Su-Jian. Very interesting unit.
That new TAG has a different head, canister on the back, doesn't have Guijia shoulder fins, and has some kind of scanner in the torso instead of a big solid armor plate. I'm guessing it'll be hopping around rooftops with Visor and compliment the Suijian. If it has Engineer that'd be nice.
I wonder what sort of lore background it will have. IMO, the large "Public Safety" label points towards it being from the regular police rather than the ISS itself. But TAGs seem a bit overkill for police equipment, so maybe it is from the ISS after all?
