They withhold a regular release miniature to make it limited edition and engage on FOMO economy? Nah, can't be CB, must be GW
For the last two years there's been FOMOS almost every month, between the massive Last Chance, the massive super promos campaigns, the limited miniature sales campaigns like the Black Fiday or the tohaa box, it was enough FOMOS to divert your entire annual budget from your local shop to that of CB.
We will know soon enough either a video for PanO, or somebody from Essen or a Warcor will get their hands on the book and tell us the entire Generic PanO list. From what we have been teased by, Generic PanO consists of NCA, VIRD and few MO and Kestrel units, so it is not impossible to play most of NCA and VIRD as a generic PanOceania list, always of course fireteams, fireteam rules and AVA dependent.
To be honest, I'm pretty excited about N5. Don't ask me why, I think it's just because it's a new opportunity to get me hooked on the game again. I like the lore and the story in general (yes, and like almost everyone else I suffer reading it as it's written). I'm quite comfortable with the collection of clichés and the “I've read this before”. I love the minis and their aesthetics even if every day they are less and less anime and a bit more “common” (something absolutely understandable having a lot of minis to design). I love the gameplay even if sometimes I don't understand how they pretend that some rules work or how they pretend that some profiles don't work. But right now I'm absolutely waiting until I have a clear idea of which profiles are going to stay in their generics and sectorials. After seeing the slashing of the generic Combined Army and the departure of a bunch of Aleph favorites, I can't wait any longer to find out what happens to other armies. I need (we need) the lists. This waiting is killing me...
I saw this on the German dark net, it would be the preco page for warcors, there's another limited fig on top of the other one. Yes for his 2nd version, they missed the iconic pose of harlock again.
In leu of being able to click on the image, what am I looking at? Is that Shikami and Korsan? Why is there a Haqqislam model in PanO vs JSA starter, as an exclusive, no less? I am not displeased, I am just asking the question.
Sandtrap preorder comes with a neutral monk that both forces can use, their unit name is Yamabushi The book bundle preorder comes with the above miniature for free.
My slightly domesticated guess (I can't claim it is a totally wild one!) is, Korsan will become more widely available among the factions, mercenary-like.
I hope not. "Lets cut a great number of mercs from Vanillas in N5. But take this new haqq merc to play with your pano force"
I didn't know ginger turks existed until now. This is not Warcor preorder, 2 guys in my gaming group got this offer via email.
The same you did with the Druze Hacker, the Brawler, The Raveneye or the Exo Is not a warcror preorder, is a private preorder if you promise to do demos to people
I have my doubts we will see them outside their faction and sectorial, the teased PanO Generic and Kestrel do not include such unit.
Well, I doubt I will buy the N5 fluffbook for the model (anddefinitely not going to buy the full Sandtrap bundle for it). If it comes into my Haqqi hands by other means, I won't be saying no - it is a sweet model - but I can resist the FOMO here ;)
