Hi everyone, Been away from Infinity for a few years but jumping back in again, at seemingly the perfect time. Whats with the lack of posts in the Events & Tournies section? Is there somewhere else that events are now advertised or are there really so few events being held these days? Thanks in advance for any info.
Depends on the warcor many just advertise locally, try the events browser to find regional tournaments.
There are several factors at play here I believe The forums have a lot less traffic than they used to have. There was a major drop in Tournaments with Covid and things don't really seem to have sprung back to where they were. People are organising and promoting events elsewhere. In New Zealand for example we largely is a Facebook Group and a group Chat for keeping people up to date with what is happening with events. We should probably be more transparent with upcoming events with the excitement from the new edition announcement and things like the game and Animation.
Probably, there are several people from the community that do not network on social media and miss events.
As a matter of fact, you can remove the probably from your sentence. Not only the information will be missed, but also some event are restricted to social media account like the last painting contest.
I will convey that information, I heard it from a lot of people, especially about the painting competition.
