It seems that it is my local shops that are struggling to shift stock then. One of them still has an old Maggie. They totally switched to only pre-order models and do not stock anything new Infinity related because to them it is mostly a dead investment. And pre ordering through them, last time I did it, took me ten months with full upfront payment.

That is why I was under the impression of bloat. Same happened to Warmachine in and around 2016-2018.

I think CB is having distribution problems. My store is also taking a long time to get anything in. I ordered the Aleph REF two months ago and it still has not come in. I found out one of their distributors is moving and didn't tell anyone as well.

US Distributors are notoriously rubbish at anything beyond GW and MTG, I know CB has been encouraging stores to order directly from them or smaller distros like MOE or Warsenal, and they're currently looking for a US B2B sales rep to help stores get their product reliably.

Here in Poland I sometimes get products a day or 2 before their release day after preordering them from official Infinity distributor in Poland. And I know that company for many years (even from before starting Infinity 4-5years ago) and they are usually quite bad at delivering on time. So from my own personal experience I have to assume its CB that manages distribution so well than even our official distributor can't fuck it up.

Tiki and Mechazoid listed in MOE games. 48$ each (without discounts). That's S7 tag prices. For S6 tags. (unless they mess with silouethe sizes. Again)

Indeed. Distribution is the problem in the US. And yep,a new B2B sales rep who will contact each and every FLGS in the US and get them ordering from an importer-partner like MOE and Warsenal instead of traditional distributors is the answer.

Also the Warcor program needs revival, and can support FLGS owners as well as players. It seems likely that the new US sales rep will be part of that as well.

Been playing Infinity for over a decade, and their management of ranges with rotation and mothballing (but still playable) is a sustainable model from what I have seen. With the Happy Days events to get really rare stuff pushed back out regularly, I'm guessing they may even do sporadic refresh of the mothballed stuff.

@Darvain I think it's definitely not doom and gloom time. It's hard to order anything but GW through US stores. CB seem like they're currently implementing a better plan to address that, and I think it has a good chance to work.|

In the Seattle area, our numbers are returning to pre-pandemic levels despite random volunteer players being the only ones coordinating game nights, events, and leagues. A city to the south of us, Olympia, now has 11 players at their regular gamenights. Other cities in the area need a bit more restarting, but I think they'll bounce back too, if they can get some Warcor support and a sales rep contacting the FLGSes.

    40$, with discount.
But, the tikbalang has the same price and is not a S7 tag

Here's an update of new releases. Surprisingly, PanO has received nothing new since the REF late last year but we know they are getting new Tikblang in August. I don't add to list until I see the actual figure.

2024 Figure Release up to June 2024
O-12: 4 Releases, 17 Figures (Torchlight Brigade, Gladius Team, Nightshade, Wreaker)
Aleph: 6 Release, 17 Figures (Myrmidons, REF Pack, Regular release Maximus, Atalanta, Sophotech Support pack, Ajax)
Haqqislam: 3 Releases, 10 Figures (REF Pack Alpha, Azra’il, Hassasin pack Alpha)
Ariadna: 3 Releases, 8 Figures (Cateran, REF Pack Alpha, Jacques Bruant)
Nomads: 4 Releases, 7 Figures (Lizard, Zeros, Daemonist Observant, Moran Maasai)
Yu Jing: 2 Release, 3 Figures (Guilang Hacker, Yaoxie remotes)
    NA2: 2 Releases, 2 Figures, (Digger, Liberto)
Combined Army: 2 Release, 2 Figures (regular release Caskuda, Anathematic)
    PanO:
Special (All Factions except CA & Tohaa): 1 Release, 1 Figure (Warcore)
    Special: Dire Foes 14, 1 Nomad, 1 O-12, 1 HVT

A good Tikbalang excuses multitude of sins. I just hope it will be good, I liked the old pose and I am just hoping for relaxed pose, like new O-Yoroi or old Tikbalang. None of "leaping from a rock and shooting sideways". Does work with s2 trooper. Will not work as much with s6 tag.

All factions ebb and flow in releases.

Ebb and flow would imply something natural about it but we know it's not. I'm not sure it will happen this year with a faction but last year, Nomads got a whopping 43 new figures, and that's without a whole new sectoral (37 if you don't count REF). Just a re-fresh of Bakunin. O-12 has the potential to get a lot this year but so far it's hasn't really been much. TB still needs Kludgers, Moonrakers, Waverider, Stormbot, and Jamie Arantes. Obviously there will be only one Jamie, but I can't see the others getting more of than one each. I'm willing to bet on a Beta pack 3. Kludger, Moonraker, and Waverider (because they know we want two Moonrakers they will only put out one in a set). They said a Raveneye at some point. If that's all they get for the rest of the year it's only 23. I highly doubt they will be coming out with other weapon versions of troops like Strider, Nimrod, etc. any time soon. They can't be bothered to come out with version of figures that game out years ago! (looking at you Spitfire Liu Xing!)

It was hoped that another faction would get a re-fresh like Bakunin this year but that's not going to happen with Warcrow sucking all the oxygen out of the room at Gen Con. If something big was going to happen for Infinity at Gen Con, we would know more than just the Tikbalang and Mechazoid Sokorentai. TAGs are cool and all but only 2 things for people that just happen to play those armies kinda sucks.

Just also realized Blackwind came out in 2022 but we still have not seen a regular release of Pandora or SP Hippolyta. There is a Hippolyta but it's in a O-12 set and even looks O-12. Sucks if you don't play O-12.

Morats also came out in 2022 and we still haven't seen a new Sogarat. Or a new Achilles, Teucer, Drakios, or Penny (or is the bootleg one the official version now?). Hassassins are still waiting for a new Al Djabel or, you know, a second Asawira...

I think re-designs of existing things are even lower in importance for them than weapon versions. Because they know that veteran players are less likely to buy if they already have the old one.

yeah - time is running fast. While I like the lim.ed. Pandora she looks too much like a HVT (while the Illuminatrix from Bak is only a HVT but looks like she can fight (at least she has a sort of weapon)) and I would like to have at least one with hacking pose. In the case of Hippo I think from CB perspective the official O-12 one is enough (I do not like her - CC-pro with Combi and butterknife, while some non-CC run around with big swords ... yes the old theme - I hope with Warcra...äh..crow their need for sculpting swords will be satisfied).

No one realy need Drakios ;.). While a new Penny would be nice (the old one is still good). I see no need for another Achilles. Teucer is also still okay. But they are OOP now I guess. From my personal perspective there is no need to hurry. Hush - go and craft a Liu Xing MR for Faction #1 :innocent:

Some old sculpts do not really need an update, others do.

If we are on the Yu Jing Wishlist, can I have a plain regular Tiger soldier? and the multirifle Hulang? preferably as a female trooper.

Resculpts of oop units of armies that have officially gotten a redesign aren't really "wishlist" material. People can't play that unit until CB releases a mini for it again. Doesn't matter how good the profile is, people might want to try it out. And can't. So there is a need for regular Achilles, Teucer, and Drakios.
