Moonrakers are out of this world! they're autoinclude, you start every list with two, and I have the feeling they're more faction-defining than the Rovers. A very cheap and nasty TB midfield will look something like:

    2 x minelayer moonrakers
    Beasthunter
    Strider (FO probably)

    Then in DZ:
    2 x Raveneye

This amounts to 6 camo markers in the midfield, 2 mines in the DZ, 3 specialists and 5/1 orders, for 103pts. That's crazy efficiency for the amount of crap it throws in your opponent's face, and for the amount of active turn threat you can squeeze out of it (suprise attack heavy shotgun is a real threat to many things in the game).

5 out of 6 of those markers are things you don't want to be closing in on particularly, so your Strider is really well insulated from discovery. Finally, six camo markers in the midfield is the kind of archetype you really don't want to run into if you're a camo-army yourself, because if it deploys first it leaves you nowhere to place your own stack of camo.

Not overwhelming but they have sped it up a bit lately. Hell, next DF box is Daenerys/MK Sonya/Alita.
Also, the Moonraker logo is literally the logo in the actual Moonraker shuttle for the Bond movie.

Strider minelayers are also specialists. Do you think this makes them worth using over Moonraker minelayers? You would just take the non-minelayer moonrakers instead. Also, I think the Strider with Redfury is worth considering? Thats a decent gun on a HI with mimetism -3. Its going to be decently effective in FTF and it starts in the mid field.

I think you're right on all counts! Minelayers will be an option for repeater networks or camospam, but personally I just love a b3 LSG on a tough skirmisher like that, it's a great bully piece.

Torchlight looks like a solid sectorial with clear strengths and weaknesses. My major concern is all the cries of "Nomads OP" when new players try to push into the standard hacking net.

I think I agree. They look fun to play and don't look OP but not dead in the water either. They have their strengths and weaknesses. I think I'll be picking them up at some point. I was going to at Adepticon but at cons I like to get things that are hard for me to get elsewhere. My store will eventually get TB. Besides, I'm still working on my Starmada. I can't wait to find out what will be in Vanilla. I have a feeling TB might have a lot NOT in Vanilla.

If they don't find space for a linked Tinbot and killer hacker for the next game that's kinda on them or the person teaching them

New players tend to say that about Nomads already (says the Nomad player). Torchlight has to have a weakness, and having sliiiiightly worse resistance to hacking than IA is a small, small weakness.

Skip the killer hacker it is worthless, just take a regular hacker and oblivion them back. Far more likely to get a result.

Very much so, but I was also talking more generally where if you have the choice between a regular HD or a KHD (oblivion and trinity) just use the HD, Oblivion is the superior program, and on a far more flexible hacking device.

Unless Trinity has AP or +2 damage most of the time it's just going to bounce off most targets you want to use it against and with the midfield skirmisher hacker being dead in favour of a midfield repeater layer.

I think most of the time I am using a Killer Hacker its with an inferior hacker in my turn as protection against a Hacker targeting my HI and in thos cases having the extra dice helps win that roll. I've used hackers and Oblivion in similar situations (Shang Ji Hacker for example) and wished for the extra dice often.

I mean sure, but i'd rather just solve the problem with oblivion, instead of wasting a bunch of orders contesting their ARO hacks as I walk past.

And if they really cared about bricking your HI point man they'd still go after them, ignore the face to face and just trust the trinity will just bounce off of their tinbot+BTS+Firewall which it almost always does. Meaning unless you can actually threaten them just resetting is better.

Or my preferred option having something Non-hackable with C+ or super jump I can detach from the fireteam to walk up to the repeater and get rid of it to clear the way.

I like what they do. But I had to google Samus (I saw it before but never realy know what it is). Daenerys was an early nod to GoT. Maybe the Suicide Squad was a bit too much and Moderators aka Guardians never looked good in my opinion.

Yes. They are ... very well optimized order spongs.

    It is Invincible 2.0
It plays the same one trick pony of Invincible, exactly the same.
They have even given a yet cheaper Lt + 1 order , something that was not needed.
But it addresses and fixes all the weak points in Invincible.
    Has better optimization in costs.
    And adds more gameplay options.

I can do a list with 16 orders with little effort, but for a similar list in Invincible I end up having one or two more bodies, and Chain of Command and a lot of minelayers and hacker with pitcher.

It is not an army at the level of Bakunin, SP and the likes.
But it is an exercise of LAZY DESIGN
They had an interesting concept and they wasted it completely by slapping Invincible mechanics into it.
So in the end they have fixed Invincible, which was in a need for an overhaul in N4.
But they have given it to O12, thus giving a big middlefinger to YuJing players. Something they did not deserve.

    Invincible 2.0,
    Blue Invincible
    Blue Zuyongs,

You name it, but it is not TorchLight Brigade.
