Hi all! I was wondering how you all felt about the addition of the Korean units in our glorious White Banner sectoral. I personally thunk its fantastic that we got them. It was exactly what WB needed. Also, what kind of fire teams have you come up with? Anyone tried a Harris with Bixie and HWARANG? I'm curious because I have gotten new toy overload myself and haven't been able to pick what I like the most. Wha have you all come up with? Remember all responses are welcome, but just keep it respectful to other people's ideas.

I'm going to try this mixed core in my next game:

    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    [IMG]5 [IMG]1
JUJAK Breaker Combi Rifle, Heavy Flamethrower ( | TinBot: Firewall [-6]) / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 30)
LÉI GŌNG Shock Marksman Rifle, Nanopulser, Blitzen / Breaker Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 34)
HAETAE (BS Attack [Guided]) Heavy Rocket Launcher(+1B) / Assault Pistol, PARA CC Weapon(-6). (1.5 | 37)
HWARANG Light Shotgun, Panzerfaust / Pistol, EXP CC Weapon. (0 | 23)
HWARANG Light Shotgun, Panzerfaust / Pistol, EXP CC Weapon. (0 | 23)

    1.5 SWC | 147 Points

    Open in Infinity Army

    - Jujak starts the link, brings the tinbot, a nasty template and breaker ammo
    - Haetae shoots guided rockets on 20s
    - Lei Gong to cripple enemy fire teams with an MSV point man.
    - 2 Hwarang with panzerfaust as filler and protection

I'm thinking about bringing one TianGou KHD holomasked as Hwarang. The tinbot is a nice synergy and it might catch enemy hackers off guard when I march this train into a repeater. They also happen to be the same cost so you can't really extrapolate their presence from the list either.

Nice! A 3 burst guided heavy rocket launcher sounds like some ones most unfortunate end. I love it!

Remember that BS Guided always reduces the burst to 1, but for normal BS attacks that's a burst 4 HRL due to fire team bonus, which is plenty nasty.

Oh yeah that's right. I did completely for get about that. Still 3 burst heavy rocket launcher in the active turn is still pretty nice.

Jujak suddenly became very relevant with the changes. I’m looking forward to using some of them when I come back around to WB. I’ve made a few lists with the new troops.

This team is both shooty and great at close assault. +2 dmg combi is no joke! Then they can still get into CC. Alternatively is changing one Hwarang into a JJ Engineer.

Edit: the one thing I don't like is that if the JJ dies, then it can't reform a link team should it be broken. There must always be at least one JJ, Shang Ji, or Ye Mao.

JUJAK Breaker Combi Rifle, Heavy Flamethrower ( | TinBot: Firewall [-6]) / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 30)
    HWARANG Combi Rifle(+2 Dam) / Pistol, EXP CC Weapon. (0 | 28)
    HWARANG Combi Rifle(+2 Dam) / Pistol, EXP CC Weapon. (0 | 28)
DOKKAEBI (Hacker, Killer Hacking Device [UPGRADE: Spotlight]) Combi Rifle, Pitcher ( ) / MULTI Pistol(+1B), PARA CC Weapon(-6). (0 | 25)
HAETAE (BS Attack [Guided]) Heavy Rocket Launcher(+1B) / Assault Pistol, PARA CC Weapon(-6). (1.5 | 37)

    Its four. Normal HRL 2 + 1 B from profile +1 B from fireteam.

@Knauf ´s Fireteam looks good - I will try it out, but at the moment I have to prox the Haetae until I found a solution to give him a HRL.

Why? Bixie is already a multi tool on its own, I would rather give her the tinbot Jujak and a Tian. In IA you can run her budget like with two Zhanshi :-D

In theory I work with a Haetae, Jujak, Hwrang, Dokkaebi, Tian team.

The new RF troops add a lot:

In genreal the Haetea with HRL is the man to go with because he lacks only one dice vs a HMG (with a scary weapon) and brings the option for guided, all with BS 14 base.

Hwarang act as "cheap" fillers and "CC protection". Not super cheap and can not realy protect, but interact with CC.

Dokkaebi is the new hacking star, because of pitcher, upgrade and it shines in a 4+ fireteam with 6th sense and tinbot protection.

Sulyongs deliver NCO order fuel and or a good toolbox (FO) or a paramedic.

For me Bixie at the moment is ties with Ye mao, Unfortunately while the new profiles look great, I have not slotted White banner for play soon, so I do not have any practical experience with the new additions.

Yeah. That's pretty much how I run her. Although, having her in a Harris until she gets to she needs to go would be interesting.

In my mind having Bixie in a Haris doesn't give you enough to offset the cost of not having the Liang Kai Monk Haris.
That is the real cost of a Haris in WB, is it giving me more than 5 point regular monks that can double smoke and be extra wounds for Liang Kai with Anti material CCW for those missions that need things broken.

That's true. I do like my Liang Kia and some Monks. It was more of a thought than a real serious Harris.

That is pretty much the same core I've been landing on myself. I haven't had a chance to run WB with the new editions yet. How have they been running?

I've been playing into Nomads a lot so the guided hacking thing isn't working great but the 4 dice HRL is doing work.
I'm not really sure that keeping it 5 man strong is with it being that it's not a pure core.

Interesting, I do not value the Liang Kai Haris that much, I prefer to have one or two monks independent.

That's not a bad idea. Maybe having a Zhanshi/AP HMG Shang Ji core as a second attack vector is a good idea. Idk maybe dropping Liang Kai/Monk Haris into a duo? Something like this?

    gM0Md2hpdGUtYmFubmVyAIEsAQEACgGG2wEEAAKG3AECAAOG2gECAASF3AEBAAWAiAECAAaAlgELAAeGAwEBAAh8AQkACXwBCgAKfAEBAA%3D%3D

The HAETAE Haris can pull double duty as an attack and ARO unit. It might force the opponent to split their attention. Sorry for the app code, but I'm pretty much on my phone rather than a computer.

What I like about the Haris is if I need the extra chain rifle burst it's there and I can gang up on someone in CC. But I can always brake them up if I need to pull them in different directions.

That is true, they just seem to be low on my what I would like to have Haris priority list.

I totally get that. There is so much good Haris options in WB right now it's tough to pick just one and one core. It's like being the kid in the toy store, and wanting everything and your parent telling you " No. Just one toy".

I'm not saying its the best Haris but it is very handy to have the monks rolling 2 dice for smoke and having a spare wound before losing the ability to smoke along with it being cheap so I can have HI in my core and still get 15 troopers means it makes it into a fair amount of my lists.

Curious what Haris options you gravitate to in WB if not the monks?

Bixie can make a full 5 man core or run off on her own, dropped the tinbot in favour of having the evo which will fairydust HI, reload the pitcher, help the AD Tiger hacker if needed.
More likely though Bixie will go off and do her own thing and if given an opportunity can forward observe through smoke.
