What irks me the most is that the justification for the rising prices in the models have been explicitely stated as coming from how bulkier a model is, and how complex to cast, but then we had the official statement that Siocast models were produced so as to reduce the raising prices. Now we see more growing prices, while switching to siocast piecemeal.

And it seems QA is subpar with Siocast, considering how people have broken pieces, pieces that become dust (this happened to me years ago with Warzone Resurrection's casted resin models... the mix had degraded because it was badly mixed, either in homogeneity or component amounts), or somehow able to endure all kind of hardships. This is considering that the model doesn't have problems in the flat parts or corners, I've seen photos that were quite disturbing, pointing to the material not filling the whole mold...
My reasoning for disliking the Siocast is not only this, but that having a 3D printer (and not a last-model or great one, at that... a Photon S from 2021!) I see no reason to even risk this issues, specially considering how many cyberpunk/post cyberpunk models are currently around (Papsikels, Unit 9, Loot Studios and CyberForge no longer being about 80% of the monthly new models anymore), which is the reason I consider the transition to Siocast a foolish move by Corvus, they leave the niche where they were the best to move into a wider sea...

As for pieces that break at the glue points, this happens with metal models too, since it's the weakest part, but the individual parts can, at worst, simply get lost.

Well it did not look like a human face in an open helmet and it was not in the end.

It absolutely looked like the face of someone with a broader nose and darker skin under harsh light. But I'm glad that it turned out to be a signifer mask. Space UN representative showing in one, instead of a suit and a briefcase is epic. Although, to be honest, the historical usage of those masks is rather over-stated. Much more commonly they wore animal skins (bear, seldom wolf or lion) so the strider showing up with Xenia Igorevna's trophy pelt instead of a poncho would have been a better treat to my pedantic senses.

Overall, I like the basic design concepts with the Roman and Greek influence (they sure did a lot of colony-building and border wars) and I like some of the morally gray stuff like the nimrods being Bureau Noir's hand within the Torchlight brigade. I'd love to have a Torchlight campaign in the Infinity RPG for example, especially when we learn what is going on on the other side of those newly discovered worm gates. But it really annoys me that the design process after the initial stages went on to add more bulk to existing bulk and some extra bulk on top. And again, if doing Greco-Roman inspiration why the silly swords!? Give them spathe or a nice scary sci-fi falx.

So it's like Dante from Blood Angels? Wow.
I really hope to see some Space marines converted from this box.

Keeping the proud CB tradition of releasing the least useful loadout I see. Not that Nightshades were particularly good to begin with, but yeah, let's release the BSG version that's not only the worst but also the most expensive.

    But he does look beautiful!

I've used him three times and loved him. It sucks to not have the surprise attack but getting into 8" and blasting away is awesome. With the Super Jump it's hard to hide from him. He's my Specialist/Lt. Killer.

TB are not for everyone but neither, frankly, are Nomad kitsch, or CA tentacles, or Ariadna furries. I generally think the TB are great looking, and will be very fun to paint and play They have a really nice theme and fluff to them, and I'm gonna have a ball fielding them in my purple and gold. :)

Oh look! The sword the size of a person aaaaaand…

    … Shock CCW :/

Same output as the damage of the weapons of these gentle ladies

At least the Hellblazers have an Explosive CCW

Allé, maybe the Silverstar will be very good in CC, in which case his big weapon, even if only shock CCW, would be legit.

As long as it’s apparent that the unit is a good CC fighter I’m all good.

If however it’s just for the look, then I’m not in favour. A non capable CC units shouldn’t have huge fearsome looking weapons (looking at you Shakush).

    Let’s see tomorrow!

Personally, the first thing I thought after seeing the Nimrod was "Ahsoka expat", for the golden face dude in Thrawn's retirement home beyond the galaxy...

I hate the pose, however. Hell for transport, hell for playing...

I think it was mentioned they were the "basic infantry" of the sectorial, so it stands to reason...

Mind you, I made some calculations taking the MO box (106 points between the Justice and the Sepulchre), and assuming the S5 is around 55-60pts, we have about 26pts per model, so it's likely the hellblazers will be like Teutons/Cenobites in cost and loadouts (only more armored instead of having the Mimetism of the cenobites, for example), and the silverstars 1-3pts cheaper so the other three can cost more than 30pts each. Unless they throw out the window the idea of making units look like their stats that justified the change in Morat Vanguards from fully armored to bare-chested, that is xD

Ok, I thought it is either extremely badly painted, which is impossible, or it is a golden face mask.

Colour me unexcited. The biggest piece of info is that the game is getting even more new units, most likely overlapping capabilities with existing ones, but now with red logos.
