I dropped the same way my O12 BBots. Not a single damage.
A couple of weeks ago I saw a flying Stigmaton. Same result.

Given that I have tumbled, fumbled, dropped and throwed my roadbots around in ways that a miniature should never be treated and they turn out unscathed... have you consider that maybe what you witnessed were indeed chinese copies?

I may be blessed by the siocast gods though.

Our community has seen that :

It's not impossible that you'll come across it on tables, not very often that said if you live in France, as there aren't many warcors here (^ ^')>
It might be time to try an opportunistic friendship with a warcor to get your hands on it :smiling_imp:

Personally, it inspires me better than space marines.

What I got out of this:

HI armor with BTS 6 or more?
    Many Veteran and Elite troops
Possibly more Climb+ and/or Super Jump
    High powered weapons

Includes Kappa, Psi-Cops, Hippolyta, Lamda, the usual REM.

Mixed material miniatures are one of the most annoying things that a company can inflict upon its customers. You easily get the worst of both worlds. The miniature is still heavy, but also fragile (and yes we've seen numerous examples of siocast being fragile). Stripping and glue removal now requires more caution and 2-part epoxy, which creates the best bonds for metal threatens to glue the siocast in a way that will be almost impossible to unglue neatly. Mold lines from different parts of the miniature will need different tools to remove... Joy on every step.

The highlander chick with the siocast tactical wall was a really good idea, because the wall is not a part of the miniature and will most likely be used in dioramas or by people who don't mind the abovementioned activities. And the connection between metal and plastic was very clean and planar. But now we see actual parts of the miniatures being siocast and the tactical elevator, which is easily the volume of those backpacks - metal . Errrr, what?! Why?!

This foot-in-the-door approach to siocast introduction is really getting annoying and honestly, if this was an army I liked, I'd have still considered it a dealbreaker for purchase...

I can tell you for sure that should Infinity turn entirely to Siocast, I won't buy a single new model. Corvus' battle horse has been "best metal models in the market", and losing that means dropping to compete with 3Dprinters and GW Plastic...
Mind you, if Warcrow fails, I'm not sure the company will survive, it depends on how heavy have they invested in producing Warcrow boxes.

Give me bad remembrance of a GW phase were we had a lot of this mixed stuff. The early cult marines: IW, EC etc.

My painted Marut dropped from ca. 1,50 mtr to the floor (with carpet) maybe it hit a board on the way down... one arm came of on the glued point and two of the antenna fins snapped of. The later was the annoying part of the repair - one came of in a game later, but for now its holding.

I did the same with my painted Guijia (nerver learn) this time the arm, and the weapon came off on the glue points - annoying but realitve easy repair.

In the picture you show later, the Agamemmnon seems to be mainly broken at the glue-points.

So yes - you have to be carful with Sio TAGs but in general carful handling will help a lot ;-)

My Penitent was dropped and it shattered into many pieces. I never found the arm, after extensive searching, so I can only assume it broke into tiny pieces and was essentially dust. Being a part of a box set, I doubt I will ever be able to replace this.

I also had a Zond that was dropped. I was able to repair this one, but it was again shattered into many pieces.

Siocast is fragile as heck! I am not a fan.

Siocast backpacks sound fine, and are probably the best way to do mixed-material kits. Nothing looked to connect directly to the backpacks, so the only connection to worry about is between the torso and the backpack itself.

Yeah, I'm with you on that one. Good thing that there's always older and second-hand stuff, but damn...
