    I can now check off the Sarko and Sekudroid. But I gotta say that was a difficult buy. Meaning even though it was on sale it was still a lot of money for only two figures! One of which you don't even see on the tabletop until revealed. I guess technically 3 due to the parrot but I don't think it really counts if it can also be done with a token. I can also tell I'm going to loose that droids head at some point. It's attached only ad a really small point.

    I got the same box for around 26-27 dollars back when it came out.

    That would be up to you though I'm leaning more towards Steel Phalanx since she originally comes from that sectorial.

    If you can get the Chaska and you like them go ahead while you still can. I've gotten models that were not meta or as good as other options in an army or faction. I bought them because I liked them & often times for conversion purposes.

    I like Chaksa but not for O-12. For some reason they don’t “fit” for me. Maybe because they are the only non-humans/android/REM. So, I’m going to proxy them with Dakini or some other Aleph for now. Aleph makes the most sense to me seeing as how they already have Aleph troops available to them. I hope the Riksha look cool when they come out! But knowing CB they will come out with the options I don’t care about lol. Also, for the simple fact I’m doing Aleph now as well! Lol. Well mainly SP but I’ll get there.

    That is a good plan. I too hope that the models and loadouts will be good on both accounts.

    I had my fourth game on the weekend. A loss but again it was very close. It was vs. Bakunin and Unmasking. He won by 1pt. I always have trouble vs. Nomads. What I play doesn’t seem to matter. Man, I so hate guided missiles. It’s probably the biggest thing I don’t like in the game. It’s just un-fun to play against. I went first and I made at least two blunders but not seeing that he’d have some things when he set up. Like a Riot Grrl linked ML able to see Parvarti right away. Also, my Raptor being seen and not able to go into cybermask. But still the Raptor ended being very good again. He was hacked 4 times and either they failed rolls or I made BTS saves. I tried out Andromeda and she did ok. She got one of the consoles but then in the next turn spotlighted and blown to bits. I really hate the feeling of not being able to do anything against that thing other than a reset and a dodge. Another great troop again was the Roadbot. Mainly due to just being lucky. I also forgot to use it’s drop bears more. Again, getting used to new troops.

    @Space Ranger Sounds like you are getting better the more you play. Someday we will hear of you winning against Nomads and getting that streak of losing against them behind you. Hope to hear more of your journey playing and improving your O-12 force.

    Nomads in particular have always been a problem for me. And they are totally un-fun to play against.

    Does anyone have advice on using the Zeta? I want to try it out in my next game.

    I now have Shona in my collection! I got some credit on the weekend because I ran a demo. I nice surprise because I didn't expect it at all. So I used it to get Shona. I'm looking forward to trying her out more. I used a proxy for her in my Bpong game with a Varangian but never really did anything with her.

    Yeah thats the bad thing. I hate when there is bad synergy with troops. Bixie is good with Betas because she has Climb+ as well as Super Jump. But she's expensive.

    It is a reason why I try to experiment with Bixie and Yemao and Sona and vargar haris.

    Both of those make sense to have better synergy since they are both "home teams". Bixie is great with Ye Mao. In Starmada we are just lucky that she goes well with Beta.

    I'm going to be Shona as a duo with a Varangian for a while and see how it goes.

    Another win for Starmada! 4-1, B-Pong, and I actually went first! So far I've only seen people going second win. It was against Bakinin, who I've always had trouble against. My opponent won lt. roll and took initiative to go second. Because I was going first I changed around my list. I had to alpha strike, and I had to get rid of his linked Riot girl ML. She has always been a pain. So I decided to make a five man beta team with the epsilon, bixie, shona, pavarti. Shona was initially supposed to duo with a varangian and pavarti on her own. So first turn I moved them up the center climbing a tall building above the RG. In two orders killing her and the medic Moderator near her. Having that central building to shoot from helped through the rest of the game. It was low scoring but I was surprised I won going first.

    One of the stand out troops was the Lawkeeper with two sidebots. I had them holding one of the consoles and it made him send two pupniks at them to then get shot up. I was actually able to immobilize the Chimera with the HRS. They were destroyed but it was a pretty good trade. the LK later went on to dodge a mine up the flank and kill his Moderator Lt. in his DZ.

    I can take the Knight of Santiago off my list. Not because I got it. I decided I'm going to use another figure. I'm going to use a Zhencha.
    Obviously a proxy for the combat jump KHD with BSG.
    1. He's an HI
    2. He's a hacker
    3. Carries a boarding shotgun.
    He's perfect for him as a proxy. Also I never used it in IA and have yet to paint it lol. Otherwise I would have picked my Liu Xing hacker, who is even more perfect. But already painted and I don't want to strip him.

    He seems like a good equivalent unit/model for the PanOceania hacker knight.

    I can't wait for Moonrakers now! I tried them in vanilla this week and they are fantastic. Great cheap road blocks. I took two and primarily used them to put down mines and then make my opponent kill them. I immobilized a kriza borak in ARO! :joy:

    Also, I didn't need it but I bought the gangbuster hacker on sale.

    I think I've decided not to get the O12 reinforcements. Jackboots are meh so far, neither of the Vidocq are ones I'd use. So I don't want it for just the Ment. I'll use Sonya as a proxy.
