So, apparently this one is in the works and we have already some previews and 3D sculpts for the accompanying characters. This is what I've gathered so far: Theme - It will be some heist-type of action plot. Characters with confirmed miniatures: Uhahu - Second comic with her, this time she sits on a chair to explain why she is S2 Denma Connelly - Some kind of Ariadnan aristo, seems to belong to the Zellenkriegers team/squad/whatever Xenia Lavochkina - the Merry Widow of Struktura who killed her husband after she found he had the cheerkillers as his personal harem. Ishinomori - Male chimera, seems to belong to the Zellenkriegers Killjoy - looks like a Mk 5 posthuman, seems to belong to the Zellenkriegers Raiza the Whispering death - Some kind of Haqq girl wielding morlock kukris, seems to belong to the Zellenkriegers This looks way too much characters for everyone to have their own unique profile. So maybe a generic Zellenkrieger unit (seriously, CB, grab a native speaker) plus Uhahu, plus Lavochkina, who was announced first. Alternatively some may not get their own profiles, much like in Outrage and we can have additional options for Mk 5, chimera, etc... It is also interesting whether the four Zellenkriegers will find themselves in Aristeia with separate profiles. Sounds like a missed opportunity if they do not, if you ask me **** Edit 1: based on https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/aftermath-comic.42412/#post-462688 Generic Zellenkrieger profile confirmed Community encouraged to make own Aristeia rules, no official rules for now.
I think the idea is that the Nomad Nacht is an organization, or part of the Struktura Lavochkina is boss of, and the characters (all but Uahu) are called "cell warriors" because they belong to a cell (organization structure) and are combatants? Not sure here, but it's the first thing that came to mind, frankly. I know only isolated words in German, so maybe the word used for "cell" here refers only to biological ones, and a cell within an organization would use another different one? The good part is that they are easy to use as proxies for other troops, and regarding their own profiles, it's possible something like in Outrage happens (where we got the full crew but they only have profiles for the story missions, having dissapeared from the forefront after the comic ends)
I think the Zellenkrieger is more likely an odd translation of "cage fighter", as in someone who fights in MMA or similar, but we'll see.
Well, if it's a proper heist, then a few of the characters die during the comic and will never see a profile. Alas, poor Beba, Domovoi, Nakadai, I knew thee well.
I want them for sure. I was not fun of nomads because of some CB decisions, but I bought Tunguska starter and a little more to prepare a place where Ksenia would be welcome at my shelve.) Other miniatures cool too, but this one!.. This was that rare moment, when you are going to some faction because of one really good sculpt. (By the way she was right about her husband. Vergence and honor! Oooooh! Ksyuhaaa! I am waiting for you!!!) Sometime I could be just excited without criticism x)
Excuse me sir, these are all Nomads you speak of they will all get profiles. Dieing is for non protagonist factions.
While I like the design of most of this mini I am not properly sold. I have the bad feel we see the content of a box set here and for the Zellenkrieger (I go with the cage-fighter translation, because Zelle in German stands for prison cell as well as a cell in the human body as well as a part of an organisation) I see an alternate use as Pupniks or Morloks. Xenia is a fantastic HVT. I own Uhahu from the first comic already ;-) So yes nice figures, but for what use?
IIRC from the Gen Con seminar Ksenia is going to be the book preorder exclusive, the rest are presumably in a box like Outrage and Betrayal
We germans use „Zelle“ (cell) in different meanings, but it usually comes down to „small unit“. Some examples: Körperzelle/Pflanzenzelle/Blutzelle as in some kinds of biological cells Gefängniszelle - prison cell Terrorzelle - terror cell Schläferzelle - sleeper cell Telefonzelle - phone cell … quiet the same as in english All of those can be abbreviated as „Zelle“ and the context will make it clear what kind of cell is meant. Zellenkrieger is a word that is possible with german grammar, but it is not a word with a predefined meaning. So the context is important. If anyone is interested in grammar regarding Zellenkrieger: Male cell warrior: „Der Zellenkrieger“ Female cell warrior: „Die Zellenkriegerin“ Multiplie cell warriors (male or mixed): „Die Zellenkrieger“ (same word as male version, but with different Artikel - and with different effects to other words that refer to them) Multiple female cell warriors: „Die Zellenkriegerinnen“ Not that I expect anyone to use this, but „Zellenkriegers“ sounds just terrible ;P just omit the „s“ at the end and you have the correct word!
IIRC from the presentation we got they are fighters in illegal "underground" arenas maybe the name has a meaning for these fights.
At the Interplanetario they told us some things more that I don’t see in this thread: 1) The Zellenkrieger minis will not get individualized profiles. There will be a generic Zellenkrieger profile and you just use the mini you fancy more. 2) Zellenkrieger is the name for fighters of underground Aristeia circuits. As has been said already: cage fighters. 3) Ishinomori is a chimera, so a perfect proxy for a second Überfallkommando 4) They said that for the moment the Zellenkrieger would not have Aristeia! profiles, they encouraged us to make fan profiles and use them in our games, though.
Let me guess: metachemistry, natural born warrior, cc+1 B to invalidate MA users :P dogged, irregular, maybe impetuous . The question is, how do they get to cc, smoke doesn't really fit blood show fighters, maybe forward dep or reinforcements?
