I have a technical question regarding the reinforcement section: suppose that I am building a list, and I add a reinforcement section, but later on I change my mind and decide that I do not want to bring reinforcements. Is there a button I click on to completely remove the reinforcement section so I don't have an empty reinforcement section on my list? I tried and couldn't find any way to do that besides reloading the page, which cleared everything from the list I was making.
I was expecting more from a series of boxes that will clock in around 70 € or more plus a blister with the option of further releases. As far as I understand it from the rules pdf and Konis statement above. I pay for 6 minis + a blister (at least, I have several Factions) and can use them at best for two turns of a three turn game. With a requirement of 100 pts of casualits in the recommanded 350 pts game it will be only one turn most of the time. €dith: Yeah it could be turn one for player two, but then his game is already on the edge. These minis have to be extremly beautiful or useful. Okay my Jujak ML was not on time on the table, the fact that he is not painted isn´t helpful neither ;-) But no worries about the sales. If they not sale well, the minis will go OOP and can be displayed in the cabinet near your Squalo MK1. Sry if this was a bit sarcastic... I do not own a Squalo but I fear for my Guijia in advance. Uh and yes i will give it a try on the WE.
not for long, read the end of the first post in the thread and the non reinforcements pano tab New Squalo MK-II profile that replaces the old Squalo profile. Update: old Squalo profile is back at least until current product become discontinued.
Just wanted to add a counterbalancing voice to the incoming (shocking and entirely unpredictable) wall of negativity. I'm not sure about the balance of some of the new units, but the game mode itself absolutely rocks. I played it tonight and I LOVED the way it changed the game pattern, flattening out the initial alpha and adding juice to the latter half of the game. It feels well thought out, and I can't really see any reason to go back to standard 300; I reckon this will take off in a big way once people actually start playing it rather than knee-jerking. Kudos to the rules team.
Lots said already. There has been some fun tweaks (more Spektr options, Robin in MO etc). It would be nice to see some more of these new models / profiles available in some of the sectorials too. I would have liked to add some Rounders into my Securitate Fireteam in Tunguska to name but a single example. It was odd to see Hafza without the Commlink though, given the new dossier image (wasn't the little bit on her rucksack the commlink?). Given some new weapon options on units like Spektr w/SMG and Al Hawwa' w/SMG, will there be new SMG models, or no chance?

Thank you! I would find that to be a nice quality-of-life thing to add, for whoever's job it is to update army. Should I put this in the Bug Fix thread?
At this very moment, we are so deep in this swamp of negativity, i am not sure if this is ment honest or is just dripping with the darkest of sarcasm... Thank you, community. Not wanna disrespect your price/time used - Value, but: Every combat jumper Every Hidden deployment All units with Holomask Everyting under a Marker Not that i wanna show off, but my knight commanders base is untouched by a table since I glued him together. And I, the dumb fool i am, spent a lot of time painting him properly. Well, that was a waste of time and money.
I remember it being there back in N3 while I was playing mainly MRRF. I'm inclined to agree, haven't gotten a chance to play it yet but I trust it will be actually fun- I've been playing some Warhammer 40K lately and the Reserves in that game definitely impact how you move and pick fights in an interesting fashion, and I can see the same potential here. Having entire units limited to Reinforcements, the lazy implementation of Commlink and the poor maintenance of existing units is a downer though, it's telling that the PanO forum doesn't even have a thread on the releases (though I'm thinking of starting one myself). The unexplained points hike on the Peacemaker and temporary removal of the Squalo seem to have certainly soured a few opinions, for sure.
Also, every TAG pilot and operator gathering dust in the carry case... And they are such pretty models too. Good thing they can be used as bounty hunters or HVTs.

@Koni I have to say well done on the Reinforcements rules set, I think this is an excellent addition to Infinity and will pose some interesting curve-balls to the tactical and strategic thinking in the game. My only real gripe is the Commlink availability and associated points cost. It feels like an over-priced and very limiting tax burden at present. 10 pts and 0.5SWC for most factions for a basic LI to gain Specialist Operative and the ability to slide into the Reinforcement group for free, is a massive price to pay for a mandatory piece in your Main Group. Add to the fact that if he dies, then your Reinforcements can still drop, makes it feel even more burdensome (though I understand why this rule is in place). If there were various list/profile options with differing costs and advantages/disadvantages, then it would be far better. That said, I look forward to getting some new troops on the table and playing some games with this rules extra. Thanks for you efforts in trying to keep Infinity fresh!
This I appreciate a lot. Stagnation and stale is what kills a community. So Corvus efforts in trying to keep the scene fresh is applauded. @Koni do not take the following as an attack to the proposed game mode and rules. I feel exactly the same. Specially since it is an optional game mode in which both oppponents have to make a reinforcement list... why put this mandatory piece when there is no alternative in commlink for any army? It would make sense if reinforcement and non-reinforcement lists could coexist in the same table fighting each other, where the commlink inclusion is a tactical choice. Or when there are different multiple possible commlinks for any army, and then you feel like you have an option and stragetical think when choosing one or another. Right now every single reinforcement list starts by: Open army, search commlink line trooper 'fusilier' equivalent. include it and pay the mandatory SWC and point tax. Every single time. We have more than one LT option for our armies, and it is a mandatory piece... why no commlinks too? Me too! But I feel dreary when those shiny models are linked to an optional game mode and not with the main game mainframe. Even the old Spec-Ops can be used as different specialists profiles of their respective armies, so there is a reason to acquire them even when you don't plan to play Spec-OPs. I myself have 2 Keisotzu spec-ops for this very reason, as they're the 'paramedic profile'. But with the upcoming reinforcement boxes, If the game mode does not gain momentum with the community and they do not have implementation as profiles in their respective sectorials/non reinforcement armies, I am afraid they will lost their attractive to me.
