With the sidekick bot it has? It would be a precedent, then. Because since N2 HS introduced such troops for the first time the ruling was that models that have the equivalent of Peripherial (Synchronized) or (Servant) can't be a part of a Fireteam. So, I guess, not likely to happen for the Roadbot. Sorry.
We already have units such as the Order Sergeants that have several loadouts with Auxbots (peripherals), yet forming fireteams in MO. The profiles with AuxBots are simply not allowed when building your fireteam. Since Roadbot has only 1 loadout with sidebot, you could include the 3 other loadouts.
Keep in mind it may change on release. Kinda the way it did with the Vostok Sputnik: there were initially 3 or 4 profiles (Mk.12, ML, Shotgun with Mimetism, and Mk.12 Albedo if memory serves me), but they got trimmed down to Mk.12 Mimetism.
Vostok only had 1 mimetic profile which is the one that continues to exist. The rest were all albedo profiles that were removed because the FTO wildcard profile was and is so fucking stupid it basically invalidated all the rest of them.
I too thought the Vostok was an overly optimized tool that people would almost always take, but have changed my mind. After resting it out, I find the Vostok’s opportunity cost for other pointman units balances it out pretty well. These are factions with units like Perseus and Pi-Well competing for that Mim-6 utility slot: not hitting as hard but having other massive advantages. In Bakunin besides Pi your other choice is Riot SF vs. Vostok Mk12, also a hard either/or unless you want to pay for both. My own favorite build right now has Pi -and- the Riot SF in the same link, which are definitely more function, orders, and options for just 8 points more than the solo Vostok, and still get you nasty stack bonuses. But much agreed that the other Albedo options on the Vostok were not gonna get bought. Wish they’d give us albedo options on the Tsyklon instead, and strip that x-visor off of every version of it but the Spitfire.
I also want to take a strong disagree with @Triumph . There was an albedo burst 2 ML. I wanted to field that thing so bad.
I guess that particular profile would've seen more tables if the +1B ML was a total reaction piece...
So is that new material still Siocast or something else entirely? EDIT: derp, there is a whole new thread about this.
There's 2 materials now, siocast and that "resin". They still testing resin, so new ITS pack buyers will be happy beta-testers again.
Rem Race will be a retail product, confirmed by Koni in FB I like the cute desing, but... 9 pilots and only 5 remotes. And i was expecting more flavor for the different factions in Rem race. But i suppose nothing prevents me to get an Infinity remote and play with it in the game. At least, for the final product, i expect the remotes in colored plastic for more differentiation and not all in grey
Looks line the Racing REMs need to be on hex bases to work with the movement templates, the game looks like a lot of fun, kind of a cross between X-Wing and Formula D, the game controller player boards are also adorable. Fingers crossed for non-Chibi versions of the pilots as a preorder/special box for use with N4?
Most modern rifles eject forwards and to the side allowing them to be used left handed, one of the first improvements made to the M16 was a case deflector allowing easier left handed use. Check out the Forgotten Weapons channel on YouTube, he's a left handed shooter and competes in many matches using weapons that eject to the right.
Firing a weapon left handed is only really a problem for bullpup rifles that don't have ejection ports that can be converted to left handed shooters, like the British L-85 for example.
