Yeah, but when you're paying a high price of 60 EUR for shipping and then it's still delayed by a year, it's literally the worst of the two worlds.

In the meantime, there are companies in EU who can take up the task of printing gameboard elements including "cardboard" stuff as well as casting minis, especially SioCast ones. Poland has highly competitive companies doing both.

Not sure about that logic, only works if you want to maximize nb of buyers. For revenue or profit a higher price with lower nbs of backers could even be better. Depends on the specific nbs though ;)

Also: Tag Raid was less successful than Defiance, despite being all about reducing costs and time to process. At some point the question isn't about cost/time calculations but rather context, feedbacks reading and knowing your target audience I would say.

I think the designs of most miniatures were not very appealing and especially the theme.

Costs are a tricky thing. Like @Croepoek mentioned it is hard to calculate which price is the best since the audience is very diverse and, for the future, the economic global situation very difficult as well.

Hey Corvus Belli @HellLois - a question regarding Infinity Tag Raid situation. I have pre-ordered two copies through a retailer to help a local store, thus have no access to comment or ask through the campaign. Here's the thing:

We all know (I assume we all do) about the critical situation in China. Protests and what seem to be the beginning of downfall of the current government. Most prominent factories are down etc. Details aside - how does this impact Tag Raid production and/or delivery? The last update on the KS was that CB is still awaiting samples. I don't want to cause panic, but am also very, very anxious about the whole situation. Do you guys have any contact with the factory, do you have some sort of insurance in place?

Don't make me giggle. CB doesn't have to provide anything for the KS backers, neither refund nor goods. This is not a purchase, I don't expect them to refund squad if things go south.

    Hello Nazroth,

We have continuous contact with the China factory and, as far as I know, there's no problem in the production of the game. If by any thing, production and/or shipping will be affected, we'll communicate it properly to all backers. Anyway, you can always conctact us by tagraid.support@corvusbelli.com

In the next update coming this month we'll try to give you the most exact info we can collect from the factory :)

I'll thank you if you stop to make this kind of assumptions. We don't have problems to make refunds of the game, even after receiving the game, as we say in the terms & conditions of the campaign: https://assets.corvusbelli.net/infinitytheuniverse/tag-raid/ks/TAG-RAID-terms-conditions.pdf

Thank man, I appreciate a quick response. Much more relaxed about the thing now.

I do not think this will go anywhere meaningful or nice, so I will put a stop to it.

Yeah, seemed a really good ides back then I guess ;)

I would have gladly payed 20-30€ more or so (not sure if this works out financially, too lazy to research) to have the stuff produced somewhere in e.g. middle or eastern Europe ‍:expressionless:

It would cost much more than just an additional 20 or 30 euros...
