@n21lv so you see, the hope that together, we can transcend our corporeal state is a good thing! You need not be afraid, or waste your artichokian energies fighting us... er, I mean that's what my Morat friend would say <cough> Which section of the forums is this again, please?
Aurora was the other ship that was sent to Dawn. Alas, something happened to the wormhole it was travelling through, and the ship was lost.
After watching the video from Adepticon, I guess it's time to shelf the faction, as Bostria pretty much confirmed we are not getting anything until the end of the year. Bummer.
Anyone handy with HTML want to help me make a fan army builder for Tohaa sectorials? This is ridiculous. I have most of the points formula broken down (which I can't publicly share due to CB/PS's request such a thing be not published) but if CB has nothing for Tohaa for the next year then a fan-made army builder for Triumvirate, Exalted, and Errant Navy may be just the ticket.
I'm still hopeful that CB is trolling us and we are actually getting a little something this year. At least one of us Tohaa players needs to attempt to be positive.
I am still curious why the Kauri Sentinel pinup was commissioned. It could just be the two blisters are being rolled into a box (new Tohaa release!). That said, when they say no new stuff or no triple A treatment, I don't take it to mean there won't be new models here and there, just no new sectorials or starters.
Agreed. There are plenty of holes left to fill in Tohaa's existing profiles. I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic.
2018 is the year to paint your Tohaa, or buy something that you don't have yet 2019 i hope it will be time to spend money on Tohaa :D
It could be for a new Sectorial and/or the Tohaa book for the RPG. Us Kickstarter backers of the RPG haven't seen anything from that particular book yet. We might see it as early as this summer, but no telling with the backlog on that project. Still I am itching to get my hands on it when it finally arrives.
Alrighty cool, guys. I can't look at the builder on my phone but it might actually be SQL, not HTML. It shouldn't be too hard to make something similar in HTML, though. I am thinking something like 3 new units per sectorial would be reasonable, without too much homebrewing, and the rest can be fleshed out with tweaks of AVA or Fireteam: Triad (e.g. Nikoul, Taqeul) on existing units. We can democratize the process further by adding a poll to the site for the first month or so to whittle away things that are over/under priced/powered. None of it being ITS legal of course, but lots of people play houserules in Infinity. Maybe we might be able even to inspire some tired artists at CB.
Well, you would definitely need someone with SQL knowledge, and I would actually recommend to build the whole thing on PHP as it can run MySQL (I doubt this project will need anything more powerful) queries natively. Can do that too, though last time I wrote in PHP was in 2013.
Can PHP be hosted through a site like WordPress? I wouldn't want to have to set up my own server just to host a very unofficial army builder. ... Well WordPress etc would have to, they host images.
