Indeed. Most sellers will prioritise more current stock over older stock to maximise sales. Space in general (physical store floor space and stock storage) is and will always be a concern. From Games Workshop to Warlord Games and Corvus Belli, stuff gets cut from catalogues now and again to save on/make room. They sometimes crop back up in made to orders too. I’d love it if that happened for the tikbalang and uhlans… got conversion ideas for those. Very true. I also don’t mind a little extra expense and less of a saving if it helps support my local independent. That only happens rarely though and it’s mostly due to the fact that my local independent sometimes has kickstarter stuff in stock which makes me both super happy and my wallet super sad. Just checked them out. Can confirm, stock prices are pretty much same as other independents. Still didn’t have what I wanted. Damn it. To be fair, nowhere seems to at the moment. But they’ve been bookmarked as an extra in case so thanks for letting me know of their existence!
My “local” Infinity stocking FLGS is too far for regular purchases, but I always make sure to make at least a $50 Infinity purchase when I’m there to make it worth their time to stock it. And the online retailer I use also has a well established local space.
I've found that if you backorder something from Leodis they generally get it in quite fast (the dates they give on the website are usually pessimistic), but I'm ordering things to my parent's address for them to bring over on their annual visit so I can be more patient than most!

About the USariadna starter that was OOP, we were expecting a repack, it is not announced on January nor on February, so maybe the USariadna is OOP without declaration in partial OOP like Bakunin, or there is a possibility that March will see a reskin of the cowboys. Or new delay post march.
The Wardriver looks cool. But I don´t need him. Lei Gong is also a good sculpt, but the wrong loadout (I repeat myself) and the good one sadly without a regular release now. But the good thing is, I managed to lay my hands on the Defiance version in a trade in. So after a while (not have it yet and have to paint it etc.) my Aristeia version can actualy play Aristeia exclusivly. Nomads scenery expansion will find the way on my table and the fireteam alpha pack also, but I will not use the HRL, its not that he realy looks bad, but he is almost clumsy in the shadow of the coolness in person aka female HRL Wildcat the combi version will be painted up together with the new spitfire. I wonder if the ever bring the BSG Wildcat, now that all specialst versions have the combi. But hey we now get the Bakunin Tinbot (boring cheers). Main reason for me is the Feuerbach EVA (Multi and/or BSG when?). Fun fact, after I clicked on the single pic of the Evader in the CB shop, it shows me, that he is a specialst ... aha CA box has the cool sniper dude, apart from that they are not my business
I’m very, very interested in the February shakush release… it’s not how I imagined it, especially for a haqqi tag but it is very nice. I’m hoping for a cool pose. There’s something about its head too that’s reminding me of some anime (not Appleseed) but for the life of me I can’t recall which it is. Oh well. The Darpan scenery pack will have to be gotten. Hope deep cut studios do a neoprene mat to go with it like they have before. There’s already a really nice nomads mat they do that will go with the hlokk scenery pack.

Shakush concept is really cool, and I'm curious about how the mini will turn out. Agamemnon looks less real, more cartoony, but as above, I'm curious. And Wardriver looks better than the limited one.
I join the Zaku feeling and I like it a lot! Fortunately my partner is building the new Hashassins, so I will one day enjoy seeing it painted in the house!
