I'm thinking of going Haqqislam for next season and have a simple question : how does the bashi deploy with holoechoes/parachutist ? 1) Without holoechoes active 2) With holoechoe active, but all base to base (and in contact to the table border) 3) With hooloecho active, all in coherency (and in contact to the table border)
3, but make sure all 3 are respecting the deployment rule. (So they must all enter from the same board edge, and from a valid position, so not entering within the enemy DZ for examle).
For the same model, does holomask work with parachutist? It's cancelled by declaring an entire order, so I'm not sure if you can holomask as a different airborne threat or not?
You can pretend to be a Boarding Shotgun Bashi while you really are an AP Rifle Bashi. Or trolling entering as 3 Mendoza
The ITS bashi gives a few armies the option to drop a terrifying expensive parachutist in at the end of T1, and hope their opponent wastes a bunch of orders getting to it to take it out. And once they learn from that mistake, dropping the real deal instead so it maybe goes unpunished. All assuming you're allowed to parachute in holomask!
