I was reading the examples section of Perimeter Weapons, and I thought CB has put the model of Spektr from Ice Storm, instead of Moran- Then I've realized that the left hand is holding no knife but spreading out like a Hacker would do, and also the shoulder pads & comlogs look pretty new. Would it be a sneak peek of the new Morans sculpt, put in carefully by CB? Or would it just be me not noticing the already existing mini? What do you think?
Hahah. Dude are you seriously THAT desperate for a new Moran that you clutch every straw? Do you seriously believe CB to be capable of scheming something like that and put easter eggs here and there? The guys that manage to botch the art on boxes? I'd like to remind you that Kriza should have Missile Launcher. God, no. Hacker+Koalas+Limited Camo - Chinese will invade these forums again and we'll end up with a hacker for 10 pts.
In one of the updates, Carlos mentioned that new Morans were sculpted, but were probably to be delayed until the end of the Code1 Nomads to leave release spaces for other factions. If they are that far along, it wouldn't be too surprising if they had used a design picture for the book example.
There are lots of units that end up with different weapon selections than on their dossier, the visual and rules design process don't always line up perfectly.
I was never suspecting that there would be any kind of scheme is going through this, and "spreading out like a Hacker would do" never meant that I wish it would be a Hacker, or I think it would be one. I just wanted to point out that the left hand is totally different from the Icestorm Spektr.
I think this is just artwork of the new Daktari and Clockmaker. The pattern on his armor is inspired by Swahili colthes perhaps(I have no knowledge on this)? I hope I am wrong though!
Looking at the daktari mini again, you are right. We can hope then! The artwork is missing the cloak, I really hope the new Morans will still have them.
maybe i am mistaken but wasnt Bostria telling about Morans were about to be released ? since then there hasnt been any news.
He said there was one planned, though he didn't say how imminent it was. Nomads just recently finished their C1 releases with Wolff and they've got the Gator in November. I don't know if we've seen December's releases yet.
One of my local stores is advertising pre-orders for Nomad and Ariadna Collection Packs, which matches with last year's December releases (PanO/Yu Jing).
