Funny you mentionned this, i've been thinking about next 2 player box lately and this came to mind immediately! Also it would be awesome thematically: libertarian freaks VS Control addicts. Would be insta-buy for me!
Bostria was pretty clear we'd be getting something for Infinity at Gen Con 2023, Essen might be the release of Warcrow Skirmish? I know they originally hoped for Gen Con for that but plans may have changed due to the situations.
Oh, absolutely. I'm more along the "I wonder what they have in mind for 2023 GenCon Infinty release" line. I think that now, with two separate design teams (for Infinityverse - i.e Code One / Infintiy N4 & Aristeia - and for WarCrow) they might be willing to run these two lines on paralell. Unlike it was with Aristeia and Defiance, when these projects were siphoning off the team's energy and time into a side project being Kickstarted. I guess, if WarCrow catches on, there will be probably spearate Infintiy and WarCrow releases for major convetnions, going side by side (I mean, in a few years). Of course, there's also the production capability of CB that comes into play here.
CB aren't in any way taxing their production capabilities, especially as Warcrow will be in Siocast. Their biggest bottleneck is the distributors, in fact they had a new lady at Gen Con who was there primarily to meet with stores and distributors in the US to improve their stock levels.
As is (and will be) some of Infinity model range. And, I guess, an increasing part of it. Same machines, same total output volume. But, of course, we're just theorizing here :)
Indeed. It’s design is just… pretty. It’s like a cut version of a jotum only smaller. It will need to be bought as a gift since I’m not running Aleph.
Yes, the question is more: How? My hope is a rework of the boxes, taking one more step further, maybe with Plastic-Terrain or a new way of cardboard. Most of the line troops from the factions and sectorials are reworked already. Guhlams could be next, but that will be in contrast to the last box, which alredy featured Haqqislam. At a sidenote: With the new fireteam rules it could be possible that we see new linetroops boxes with heavy weapons maybe including one mini from another troop type that could be taken in the fireteam al a Securiate + Grenzer. Red Veil marked the point that all battle boxes featured sectorials with its Haqqislam part. Yu Jing was still vanilla. The following all contained sectorials. The C1 boxes provided all double use as Vanilla (C1) and Sectorial (N4).
ISS has modern 3D sculpts. I don’t think they’ll be it, as cool as that matchup would be. Given recent retirements of minis from stocks, Bakunin seems likely. MRRF as their foe would fit for army-refresh timing, but two stealth-heavy factions facing off seems a bit skewed… though a battle-nuns-vs-Briscard matchup would work okay if they kept the skirmishers in the box minimal.
Well. So were Morats, but they still got redone and expanded on. ISS has some aging 1st gen digitals and it isn't fat on Yu Jing units so there's lots of room for expanding and rearranging. I wouldn't discount them as not being in the pipe.
Well old Crane and Wu-Ming HRL will go OOP on the first of next month, i can understand for the crane as it is a N2 relic but the Wu-ming is still a good sculpt, If more ISS references had to go OOP on the following month then we could expect something (tought it could also be an action pack, but Tohaa seems a better candidate for this IMO).
Yes… VERY inspired, lol. I’m okay with that. Been reading Gunnm since the late 90’s. Now I’m just waiting for the “motor ball” inspired kickstarter from Corvus Belli. Or will that be an update for Aristeia!?
I reckon it'll be CHA vs Bakunin next. Bakunin because they're seeing a lot of retiring minis, and CHA because it's a gimme with so many new Kosmoflot players, as Kosmo 'borrowed' a lot of CHA units, so it could effectively function as a CHA/Kosmo.2 release.
Note: I really like YJ models being given dadao (these heavy-bladed chopping swords, like the one on Bixie cocept art). The thin, narrow jian swords didn't seem to really look good on the models (although they seem to fit the Imperial Agents thematically).
Kazu is very inspired by the cyberpunk of the 80/90 franchises. https://kazu_hec.artstation.com/ Here his fancomics : Genesis:009_03 /// PART.01 https://kazu_hec.artstation.com/projects/0XmQQG 「Yoshimura」 https://kazu_hec.artstation.com/projects/EV5RBq Akira- NEOTOKIO https://kazu_hec.artstation.com/projects/DxozGR
