Haqq roster and profiles for the Black Wind contents, I think Bostria says that Daylami are still Irregular on N4
I'm no longer irked about the Bokhtar. He totally looks like a combat jump guy and thought he was going to be like a Liu Xing. He's more like Hollow Men. That back pack must be to get him the 6-2 super jump.
There could also be other profiles with Parachutist and/or Combat Jump. I've seen a leak on Discord that shows him with just Parachutist so not fully infringing on the Liu Xing and Santiago.
The Sunduqbut is real! This has me over the moon, perhaps more so than the glimpse at the Bokhtar profile. I've wanted killbots in Haqq since I started playing in early N3, even though we still don't know exactly what they are gonna be I am SO excited.
Not true for Red Veil, Icestorm, and Cold Front while playable the CSU, Yuan Yuan, and Wardriver did not work for both sides. I said it elsewhere but it's really just an expensive, inferior Crusher that's armed with a really bad Red Fury. The solo operative will be too expensive for what it does and the FTO profile will remain a joke because the Asawira is fucking bonkers for its cost and they probably won't tone it down.
I still wonder why they all have different weapon designs. Left has Shotgun not pictured on the dossier. The male one has a shotgun like the one on the dossier and the aiming one has the rifle. But at least they all look very nice.
The woman's shotgun appears to be the same as the dude's but missing the muzzle brake so the magazine protrudes further than the end of the barrel. Possibly a modelling error, or customised by the owner as informal militia like Daylami probably have a little more leeway over their armaments.
Yeah, it's a bit weird with the weapons. I also don't buy the "we have to make sweet beautiful miniatures to sell them" vibe about units that are irregular militia with no strict doctrine. Weird. PozdRawiam / Greetings
Maybe just the "ladys should have smaler guns thing" like back in the days of Ice Storm Fusis ;-) But after all I realy like the design of the Daylamis.
This one is a monetary decision. If they simply repackaged the same models to include the old Greek models why would anyone buy it other than new players. CB will lose money. So, it is a compelling way to sell the your repeat customers who already own said minis. This is why I believe they are going to push redesigns of the line up posted to target repeat customers. Smart and a people pleaser.
This isn't true, while they have always been playable, they haven't always been playable in both factions.
I looked up the O12 Crusher and the Bokhtar seemed to out perform it stats and skills wise, so I wouldn’t view it as a equal comparison. Though, the skill can be subjective. And yes, I agree, the RF is a bad weapon; however, that rifle has a particular target in mind - LI. I view the Bokhtar’s application as a cheerleader bully. It is roaring to pick an uneven fight with back and midfield LI. But, then would other weapons not just do the job easier and more efficiently? IDK.
Red fury are amazing weapons, they're one of the most cost efficient weapon (though that doesn't really matter in HB since it's incredibly hard to cap out on our SWC). That being said, it's probably the best weapon to bully the midfield skrimishers, which this profile is going to be very strong at (starts in a flanking position with MSV1). It shoots better than the Asawira, it has better positional ability than the Asawira. I don't know if AD is in C1 or if it's only Parachutist, with AD it would be incredible, as you can just greed roll the drop every time and if it fails, you're still a 6-X trooper that starts in your DZ, which is perfect for the trooper's role. Though if you succeed your roll, you can cause havoc on a DZ. I think the profiles synergizes extremely well in HB, having Fiday be able to take out ARO and linked NCO Ghulam / Ghazi to smoke your entrance. You get to have strong pieces to hit at every depth of the board. Unless the profile got lost in translation with C1, I think it's going to be a meta defining troop. It could easily replace the Asawira as a main gun as part of a List 2 when you don't expect you're going to be facing heavy armor (where the Asawira edges out with AP). Or, depending on the N4 cost, could let you trim down your fireteam and have him as a secondary attack piece.
Since Code One it has been. But apparently that doesn't matter because I have already been proven wrong – Pandora isn't playable in C1 Haqqislam. Guess that should teach me to be more cautious when it comes to "established" patterns...
Apparently the shields are why Thorakitai are ARM 3 but the much heavier armoured Hoplite who also has a shield is... ARM 3.
Also I was doubly wrong – Pandora doesn't seem to be playable at all. Possible prediction is Acmon, Machaon and Phoenix in a booster, and the new guy, Agamemnon, as the Hero Pack at the end, with Yara Haddad for Haqq. Unless Agamemnon is a TAG-like dude like Ajax.
