Situation from yesterday's game: Doctor fires a Medkit at an unconscius model, and achieves a critical hit. How many PH rolls does the target take?
The Criticals rule says "If the Attack does not cause the target to make Saving Rolls, the effect of the Critical will be specified in the rules for that Attack, Ammunition etc." Medikit doesn't cause a Saving Roll, and doesn't specify any effect of a Critical, consequently you just make one PH roll as with a normal hit.
Coda: Doctor should probably join a linkteam, so his darts are more numerous, since they can only get multiple rolls via multiple hits :)
In this specific case she was in a link team, just critted on one of the attempts. The question was if the atarget should take 2 PH rolls (due to 2 hist) or 3 (as one of the rolls was a crit). We took it with 2 PH rolls, both passed, but just in case, I wanted to ask :P
Target stands up refreshed, does jumping jack, finds STDs all miraculously cured and that his/her pockets are full of date-walnut candy.
Funnily enough, the way Infinity rules removes states you'd probably need an Engineer to remove STDs... *lights weld torch* "try to hold still"
