Uh huh. I'm not going to consider replies in threads that aren't codified in the "provisional rules answers" section as legit when they seem to contradict the rules. Especially when calling the PH-3 roll that an Impersonator has to make in Biotechvore an "Impersonation roll" makes no sense.
I would assume that if it was official it should be in the FAQ, since that thread is over a year older than the current FAQ.
Quick clarification. Does that mean that for this weekend you are going to rule that Imetrons/netrods are Confused Deploying on 0 and must then be deployed in the deployment zone due to automatically failing the roll?
I have no idea why you are hemming and hawing over this. Yuan Yuans have Phys 14, so if they decide to come in using Parachutist they are at a Phys -3 for Confused Deployment and need an 11. If they decide to combat drop in, their Phys = 11 and would be at a Phys -3 for Confused Deployment so would need an 8. Similarly a Netrod's Phys = 12 when they combat drop and would be at Phys -3 for Confused Deployment and would need a 9.
