Hi everyone, What is the point of B2 Medikits/Gizmokits? The rule clearly states that if you hit twice, you need to then pass the two PH tests, otherwise the target enter dead state. "If, due a Special Skill or rule, a Trooper receives more than one successful hit or use of MediKit during the same Order, if any of the corresponding PH Rolls is successful, the Trooper automatically cancel Unconscious State. Even if the Trooper passes every PH Roll, they will only recover a single point of their Wounds Attribute." I didn't do the maths (maybe I should) but, to me, it doesn't look that beneficial over B1 Medikit. Is it? Thanks,
The rule, in fact, says you only need to pass one roll to heal. https://infinitythewiki.com/MediKit If, due a Special Skill or rule, a Trooper receives more than one successful hit or use of MediKit during the same Order, if any of the corresponding PH Rolls is successful, the Trooper automatically cancel Unconscious State. Even if the Trooper passes every PH Roll, they will only recover a single point of their Wounds Attribute.
Thanks for your answer. It would make sense but there is something strange here, I have the exact opposite when I look at the Wiki from my phone... Which one is the good one and why is there this difference?
That's the Code One rule, you need to switch to N4 at the bottom of the page. The Code One version was recently discussed in the Code One rules forum https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threa...-n4-when-it-comes-to-burst.39900/#post-436843
Ok, now I just feel stupid... :P I dunno why that switch changed, I used the wiki on my phone like a gazillion times, probably a missclick! Thanks anyway, and good to know that B2 medikits are useful! :)
That switch state is saved in a cookie, if something clears your cache it'll go back to showing CodeOne so it might be that something on your phone decided the cookie is old and needed purging (happens to my work computer every so often). Never underestimate technology's capacity to foil your best intentions even without malice!
