I agree they should share AVA. Still, the idea of turret coming down from the sky...

PS : netrod cannot have cover. They are deployed in AD which doesn't allow you to be in contact with scenery so no cover bonus

I can't access the wiki right now so i can't confirm but i believe AD can't have the landing zone touching a building or any scenery piece. Meaning the miniature can't be in contact with a scenery piece, meaning it can't have cover. So shooting suppressive fire netrod would only be at -3.

Netrod would still be equipment, so unmovable, no dodge and with no unconscious state, so 10 pts combi netrods wouldn't be more powerful than, say, 10 pts fusiliers, essentially trading being a troop for non buffable forced AD4.

    EDIT: Arkhos was faster :)

Then it would be overpriced at 10 pts XD
And the repeater... it could be really broken (you could pay less than 20 points to have three chances of landing a repeater by the side of an enemy TAG??? Or an enemy HI fireteam... or close so many avenues of approach...).
I think giving a Deployable Repeater to a Minelayer Naga would be less problematic ^^U

repeater netrod would be powerful indeed, since contrary to the shooting netrod, you will try to land it out of lof, meaning that with a free order (since it's deployed before turn 1, contrary to standard AD, it's more like infiltration) you can land a repeater anywhere in the table.

I don't know what we can expect, but I do have a wish-list.

I want linkable Deva, at least a Haris option. The profile might have too many options to make that a balanced choice though.

Unlikely, but I would love to see a Yudbot variant that carries a nanopulsar.

Increased ava on Nagas, this one we might actually see.

A daikini-like profile that has Holoprojector Lvl3 for some fun mind games.

And I would like a new sculpt. We have the goofy female robot giant Marut, as well as the equally goofy mini-marut Yudbots. I want to see an S2 remote also designed like the Marut. I don't care what it does, and I know not everyone likes the look, but I think it would be fun. Just don't forget the robotic combat heels! No self respecting female-identifying AI driven remote goes out in public without their combat heels.

I hope Vedic will be released this year...
    - Asura needs a rework (that’s my greatest whish). I started Aleph because of her and now I do never send her into action.
    - More Nagas would be nice.
    - Dakini links could be fun too.
    - As new stuff I would like something with impersonation. I think it would be fluffy. Shure Aleph would have double agents.

A lot of people seem to want an Dakini link, but I don't see the apeal in this. It's like a slightly better(faster) fusilier link with less options.

The Asura so desperately need a rework that if she did not get one I would feel Vedic missed / lacked something. Seriously, despite all the hyped, I'd still get salty over this. AVA3 on Nagas would be fantastic.

Hm... I guess you didn't see then a 5-man fireteam with two dakinis armed with sniper rifles... And also with the Marksmanship lvl2 hacker program buff... It could mean we'd have access to cheap, mimetic BS 14 snipers who ignore cover and also shoot DA+shock bullets to their enemies. And being remotes they have two unconscious lvl and they themselves are inmune to shock weapons. What's not to love about that?:laughing:

    The 3 SCW cost!!!!

Now on a serious note, I would prefer the Dakinis to be placed into Haris links or similar offensive positions. I mean, a mixed link of Dakini + Devas would eat at least 3 SWC (Deva Spitfire, Dakini HMGx2), more likely 4 (Deva spitfire, Dakini MSVx2) with the 2 "surplus" dakinis being either normal or paramedic ones.

Need feuerbach in dakini team for more swc, errr ... more firepower :) I doubt they would give dakinis that weapon through, feuerbahr + assisted fire + fireteam would be a little too much (imagine on ARO, up to 6 hits with shock, or 4 AP+shock)

I understand why this a "sexy" option. But I don't see myself moving up such a link through the board on offence or obj grabing. And if it is a defensive link I find it a bit expensive SWC-wise.

Mmmm? Tsyklon Feuerbach with Overclock or Enhanced Reaction already get B2. Certainly, a linked Dakini with Feuerbach would go all the way to get Assisted Fire... But then again, 20 points Unidron gets a light shotgun and a Missile Launcher... The Dakini Feuerbach would sacrifice the template option (thus the capacity to ignore the cover's bonus to ARM) and the AP option, but would get a B3 DA+shock and ignore cover for the attack instead (or B2 EXP+Shock, which I think would be used only in Reactive, anyway)... Granted, it would be more like the Dakini had +3BS and Mimetism compared to the Unidrons.

Daikini are the only "basic troop" of a faction without a FO profile, so a FO profile would be a good addition (or maybe a FO/deployable repeater like the aguaciles)

A deva Harris with devabot would be fun but maybe to OP to be realistic (yes I move these 3 flammer totting REM with my fireteam and yes their flammer are B2...)

Deva + Devabot haris => exception from the Syncronized rules, I can't see this happening, and I doubt it would be a sane movement "wait, you can't use the Deva + Devabot in a coordinated order, nor in a fireteam, why are you moving four of them? What is going on? And so on).

Dakinis are Paramedics already, which is even better, since they are fast and can achieve secondaries at WP16 if the medic bonus applies. CE has the FO Unidron, which is slower, dogged (but not mimetic) and more suited for a defensive Fireteam. Thus, my preference to see the Dakinis make a Haris, not a Core.

Compared to Tsyklon, 4-man (bot?) teams gain SSL2, that's a big plus, especially with mimetism. By the way i believe one can only benefit from one supportware at a time (so no assisted fire + enhanced reaction), maybe i'm wrong ?

Onyx, i'm not sure it is a good thing to compare with. It's such a strange army with unique things. Core REM fireteam, haris TAG team ... Well, the point is, feuerbahr is a sort of multitask weapon, suited both to active and reactive turn, especially when considering it is in a link. In that way it is stronger than MSL in active, and nearly as deadly in reactive. I like the weapon, but for balance purposes, if i was a designer i would be careful with it.

That link won't be moving through the board. It is a roadblock defensive fireteam to control as much table as possible, akin to what the CA can do in Onyx with their "whateverdrones" (never cared to remember their names xD). Almost any defensive fireteam I've ever played has this SWC cost (be it Acontecimento Regulars, or Neoterran Fusiliers) but I like to play more defensively, and Aleph already has good infiltrators such as the Nagas, Dasyus and Posthumans MK2 to claim objectives.

Of course, they would get the SS2, but I was talking about why giving them a Tsyklon wouldn't necessary become broken.
And yeah, only 1 supportware can "run" at a time (but you can have any number active at the same time, you have to select which one will you use for that Order/ARO). However, the Dakini would get +1 burst from Fireteam (this does not stack with supportware like Enhanced Reaction or Overclock), and if the link gets to 5 members, its BS 11 would go to 13, thus Marksmanship supportware being the obvious option (aside from other like Fairy Dust, that is, if you wanna advance) because it will ignore enemy cover and become shock. So the Feuerbach would be B3 DA+shock in active turn, B2 EXP+Shock on ARO, ignoring cover on both... In that regard, they are similar to the ARO function of the Unidrones (BS 11, +3 because of Fireteam, with Burst 2 on the Missile Launcher or Plasma Sniper Rifle, add MM2 for shock and ignore of enemy cover... which means most of the time they totally ignore cover, since both the ML and PSR place templates).

I think, in fact, that the comparison can be drawn between the Plasma Sniper Rifle and the Feuerbach... but only regarding ARO burst and forcing 2 saves, since the Plasma ignores cover bonus to ARM and BTS while the Feuerbach won't.
If it were a Feuerbach Unidron, maybe it would cost about 21-22 pts.

That was the point, Tsykon can't have both B2 and assisted fire with their already deadly weapon, whereas dakinis would be able to use B3 in active (something tsykon can't) and B2 in reactive while having the benefit of assisted fire, plus other benefits like SSL2. That's why i believe it would be overpowered.

And thanks for the precision about multiple supportwares :)

That is the reason I mentioned the Unidrones, they have access to B2 EXP in reactive (Missile Laucher) and B3 in active (Plasma Sniper Rifle) with the PSR being 24 points and 1.5 SWC. Sure, they are not Mimetic, but they pay for Dogged.
The Tsyklon is "so expensive" because it has several extras over the Unidron: climbing plus, 360º visor, X visor, BS +1, repeater... Of course the linkability supplies all but the repeater and climbing plus, but the tsyklon get those at 30 something points, while the Unidron needs an extra 56 points at least (and in truth it will be more like 68 extra points, for a 88-92 points fireteam of 2 weapons of 1.5SWC each, 2 FO and a spare that will be hidden as the fireteam leader) .
