So… how fast will this sell out? I’m betting on pretty fast. Everyone still seems to really want the platinum edition yuan yuan and shinobu and the alternate sculpts for the characters. Just one other question and I apologise if it’s been answered before but are there N4 rules for the megalodron yet?
We have some dozens of units of Platinum Pledge available. I don't know how long will last. About that Megalodron rules, I'll ask for it to the team, because unfortunately it was not yet updated.
Sigh. I tried to put aside money for this, but I just couldn't make it work. I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
gl to people who want to get it tomorrow, it's def worth the try to get your plat or even a core box! =)
That is very good to hear, Koni. This is now a very fair and honest sale! Will a 250 EUR purchase be eligible for any kind of reduced or free shipping in this case? At least within EU? This would be a great cherry on top :)
I’ve gotten my own platinum edition recently at around the same price that this will cost plus fees for tax so I won’t be buying another. I considered getting another copy for my local gaming group but have decided that they can just borrow mine so I don’t deprive someone of getting their own. Best of luck to anyone who is looking to pick one up!
No, only the list mentioned in the KS update: Infinity Defiance Platinum Pledge Core Box Outcast Expansion Revenant Expansion Platinum Sleeves Pack Dice Tray Translucent Dice
Eh? Why now? Does anyone still care about Defiance anymore? Even CB doesn't. But, hey. Good luck to these guys, I hope they succeed.
I love Defiance, but it is very hard not to feel like this, considering the post-launch neglect it is getting. Really leaves a bitter taste.
I bought it, but I never cared about the game, gave the rule and cardboard away. Just wanted the models.
Well, I bought it for the game, not a bunch of minis at a barrgain price. And then it turned out that most of people got it for minis and it was more or less a marketing strategy for CB. What a shame. They could easily get over with 'boardgame' part and release a limited run miniature packs on Kickstarter, nothing would change. (And it would even ship faster since there's no need for Chinese cardboard)
Exactly. The same goes for TAG Raid, except not nearly as many people are excited by the minis (combination of material and design) and the people that wanted a well put together board game with support got burned from Defiance. Which is why TAG Raid had half the backers of Defiance. Unfortunately, again, it's a game that is also more or less dead on arrival. If they wanted to do board games they should have done cheap PVC/standees and sold it as a board game, not as a miniatures pack for Infinity players. Then they should have sold it at retail and continued support of it.
I bought defiance for the game, but is so badly made, full of erratas and bad desings, that i ended using the minis for my new shasvastii army
