Sorry, I didn’t necessarily mean to imply I wanted a dynamic dwarf, I meant that I wanted to see one of the other races in a dynamic pose, especially the elf race. It is indeed difficult to grant dynamism to an armoured potato. Though now you’ve said that I’d totally buy a literal armoured potato jumping through the air…
I've really been enjoying these videos. I think they're doing a great job with them. However, I'm not a fan of this first miniature. Its too early to make any judgement, especially based on only a single model. But I'm not particularly a fan of generic fantasy, and this seems VERY generic to me. I'll wait and see whatever they have in store, but my enthusiasm is pretty dampened.
That’s not an interesting dwarf. That’s nippon-steel-folded-over-one-thousand-times grade weeaboo bullshit.
Hi all - long time reader, first time poster. I really like the world sketches, those have a unique feel to them and the narrative seems to be well thought out. The miniature is alright but a bit bland. Actually it reminds me quite a lot of the DOTA / League of Legends style with glowing weapons and magic particles everywhere (though I never played those, so might be wrong here). But I guess the regular units for the actual wargame will be designed differently compared to the "heros" of the dungeon crawler. Looking forward to seeing more, the videos are fun. Hopefully all the factions and minis will eventually get their "Corvus Belli Twist" we were promised.
I personally like a lot the Dossier Art of the Dwarven Tanklady (Tank Girl ?) as is excellent to understand the style and creative direction. . . The Armour is very "Middle Age Blacksmith" level of Technology, yet shown the expert hand of a Master Artisan (also the Angular Shapes and Sharp Scales, while superficially reminding of the Dwarves of Khazad-Dhum of the Tolkenian Movies, reminds also of modern Armour; in particular the first drawing of Roberto Zoreda Morat). . . The Pick-Hammer seems far more conceptually modern, a Steampunk Alchemically powered weapon drawing maybe from Magic Energy Crystals, yet is consistant with the Armour Style. . . It is a very interesting concept that I daresay hope will be just the first of very convincing Style for the Game. . .
I like the mini well enough - it will be a good inclusion in a retail box set. Easy to ID from 3' away by new gamers, easy to paint, fairly sturdy. The later A! minis and the Defiance terrain are well done, and this sculpt utilizes their strengths. I'm excited to see more minis.

I don't believe that. I think we've got deep veins of this. I mean, really, conflictchicken, rumpuspigeon. there's lots of synonyms for war and its derivatives, and tons of birds, cows, and perverted fetishes to reference. No more of this quitter talk and more fisticuff-squab .
I known the profile card is a work in progress, but I'm curious about what the wargame will keep from the crawler, and what it will drop, and what, if anything, will be new to the wargame.
That will be a big difference for those who don't like the way the Crawler play-system is implemented. It is a make or break type of deal. I hope the system for the wargame is simple & perhaps has aspects of Infinity in it. Like using the same type of dice d20s or use d6s like most systems out there.
