If as a Spiral coprs player I have the browler/tagma haris with tagma tri-core, would this fireteam get Composition Bonuses as 3 or as 5 memberes
Also, more generally, Tricore only provides the bonus for a 5-trooper size bonus, and doesn't affect composition bonuses. So for example a three-trooper link of Taagma with a tricore would have: +1 BS +1 Burst Sixth Sense Discover (This is a pretty significant nerf to Tricore, but it's probably still quite a good skill)
Goddamn it, I literally went and read this first thing yesterday when the update dropped when it still referred to a triad. Or perhaps I just misread from looking at the example - either way, I'll update my first response. In that case - Yes! The brawler Haris would have five-trooer size bonus. :)
yes, they didn't change the example text at all That was my understanding of RAW, but the smothy wording of preambula "apply bonuses of Fireteam five members" make me doubt about Intend. And as Infinity tends to RAI, i've prefer to ask, hoping someone from CBStuff/Rule team will answer
After finally updating my copy of the Army app, it looks like the reason they didn’t is that the chart entry for Tohaa and Spiral Corps says “Triad Fireteams (Duo, Harris)”. It’s still weird to me that the Triad rule’s been reduced to the name on the chart. But I guess each entry gets a name in case they want to associate rules with them.
