I'm not a fan of getting new models in such a mix&match way, I prefer the old "one unit box" release model, but oh well.

Regarding units themselves: Bultrak looks... weird. I'm not sold on it. New Yaogats are chonky. Daturazi design is cool, let's see how it'll translate into actual models.

You are gonna love hearing about some of them like the Asawira getting to duo in Vanilla then. His main weakness in Vanilla was his frenzy, but now he can get a Mukhtar or Rafiq to hold his hand and keep him in cover.

Yes and become Regular in a team! It's not much of a drawback that it's max 2 Shaolin + Kai or Qo, or Wildcard. It does however use up the Haris slot. But even if it's a Duo, they become Regular too. I can actually see myself doing two Shaolin Duo.

Frenzy, maybe, but you crack the fireteam and all the sudden those impetuous guys who thought they had cover behind the fire hydrant are now swinging in the breeze.

 

They are regular only if Liang or Jin is in their fireteam. Other wildcards won't work, and Shaolin duo steals free impetuous orders and doest allow to use their irregular orders.

Probably supposed to be "while".
Just imagine 2 Shaolin duos plus Liang Kai and Shaolin duo, 6 regular orders for 46 points. Even without Liang duo it's 4 regular orders for 20 points. It's better than Kuang Shi, there is no way in hell this would he intended.

 

For the Shaolin to be considered regulars either of the characters must be part of the fireteam, with a Lian Kai and two Shaolin tirad and a Shaolin and Jing Qo Duo you get 5 regular orders at the cost of the Haris slot and 72 points.

 

Darn. If you put a another wildcard in with them, is it still ok? You wouldn't get to be regular though.

 

I do not think that adding a wildcard would stop the Shaolin becoming regular as the requirements is members of the fireteam and the named character be part of the team.

 

My take will be asawira spitfire with a govad killer hacker i think ! We'll see if the 4-4 is slowing him down too much in that case i'll follow your idea and give him a mukhtar :p
