Armies: Military Orders/ Kosmoflot/ Corregidor/ O-12/ Starmada. As stated in the pre order page specifically.
Currently I prefer the current Morat aesthetic over the new one. Maybe its the paint jobs I don't like. I'll wait to see more examples before I form a firm opinion.
I went through my post history. JSA released March 2018. Rumours of Uprising started mid February with official confirmation being released March 2nd. Given that MAF's box is April this year it's actually about the same timewise so it's not impossible. Granted, after how Uprising went down CB would have to be a very special brand of fucking retarded to try that shit a second time.
Japanese independence had been something mentioned in the fluff since earlier editions though. We've actually got more evidence in the past couple of years of Shasvastii Secessionists than Morats.
In genral I like the look of the the Morats. My fave is the Kyosot Killing Platoon with its unusual sword. The females look all very tough and on pair with their male conterparts. Zerat and Anyat are looking great. I also like the Hunter model. But I realy dislike the vanguards, this ugly big paws look orcish, maybe its only the paintjob.
It’s the lack of visible wrists that gets me. The arm and had just kind of flow together with no obvious joint.
@Lucian Probably, and sadly so by the way things are going. I'm curious if the female (Bandit w/shotgun?) will be another release or just a bit of joyful art. @McDevil It's definitely an interesting choice to have all the masks, but between them and the armour panels, it all seems a little inconsistent in design. Also the paint job is very busy too making it much more challenging to sift through it visually. The part I dislike the most with some of the armour is where the armoured sections are almost inline with thickness of what the body should be beneath, making me think they are truly very skinny. I like the Dire Foes and Tyrok... now to decide if I like the army pack enough to grab it all or not :)
I think that's a bad angle. Another shot of the Vanguard aiming his weapon(in the big group shot he's on the far right), shows their wrists are still tapered. They still have huge hands, but I'm fine with that.
Although the gun looks similar to Anyat's weapon, I'm not convinced Trenchcoat person is toting a K1 combi. I was thinking it may be something like a shock marksman rifle Personally I don't think this is evidence of any secession. The title is Slave Trophy and the fluff suggests this is an honour fight between two CA factions: The Shas to earn brownie points with the EI for providing useful intelligence and for the Morats it is purely an honour thing of bringing home the head of an escaped slave.
Well, we already know that Trenchcoat guy is new version of the Raktorak. So maybe it is Red Fury? Or it can be any other weapon. It depends how much Raktorak is changed in the new MAF.
It's a Vulkan Shotgun as listed on the blog article : https://infinitytheuniverse.com/blog/infinity-raveneye-preorder
Yes, model has a Vulkan shotgun, but on the artwork from the box Raktorak isn't armed with Vulkan shotgun, but with some rifle weapon. It also can be artistic licence, because Zerat on the artwork has different wepon than model.
