Yeah, I can't take credit for the 400 pts evaluation. I might've made a point about how WB felt weird at 300 and Triumph who has actually tested it at 400 chipped in with his experience.

I am not sure if there have been enouph games and tournaments with only change been at 400 points to have enouph data on this, but would be interesting, 350 points would be equally interesting to observe.

I think 350 is a bit too much of one of those awkward numbers. Even 100s will have a significant impact and the change is felt.

The people who've been playing 400 have reported that a large number of factions do play very well at that point, but a very small handful are not quite able to. Personally I find it enticing simply because together with the 15 model limit it discourages human sacrifices as I don't like that concept.

Indeed any 50 increment feels odd, but SWC are tied to this and I am always curious on the quasi points between the proper 100 increments.

    Edit
And I agree the fixed models limit positively helps the game to be played in higher points.

I mostly enjoy the fact that so many profiles that can't ever get a look in at 300 are viable at 400.

When have you ever run a 19pt total reaction baggage bot at 300 points? You can't. The limit makes list building too cut throat. Yet at 400 points they're great, often I'll spring room to take two.

I recommand to paint a Jotum. My Hammer-Jotum performed very well after waiting fully painted three month or so in the cabinet

This is indeed a problem. But I try to bring the Hundun from time to time, to remind my main opponent, that it exist :sunglasses: I never proxed the HRL so I am happy its out now and I hope I can paint it up quickly.

Hmm, it feels like waiting a month after painting it may have had something to do with dissipating the first-play bad luck as well.... will need to experiment.

This may well be the case. Perhaps you need to wait a while after painting your mini before putting it on the table to mitigate the curse… I will add notes to this experiment gladly.

The best way to fit a Hundun into your White Banner list is to turn it into a vanilla list.

Damn I want a Liu Xing Spitfire! (Or Mutli-Rifle). I keep making lists with one of these and need to proxy with the obviously hacker profile. I think I've used an actual hacker once. I'm happy for the new Shaolin but why?!

I totally like her look! I will definitly use her in mixed teams. Sadly she does not count as a Zhanshi or [all] ;-)

That backpack would be hella cool if it coutned for something.

Love the design and the model, absolutely adore it, but unfortunately, Tian Guos do nothing to inspire me with their profiles so far. Perhaps the new fireteam changes will open up some new opportunities for them, but I won't hold my breath.

    I love that helmet design.

I really don't love how they've decided they need to slam the exact same hacking widget on the head regardless of sculpt

My favourite one is the O-12 robot wearing a hacking visor.

Poor Tian Gou, she was such a boogieman when she first dropped, now an object of pity.
