They would need to make a new profile for an Ur sectoral. Something between Unidrons and Skiavoro range. I guess the Med-Tech is but it would need to be more like a regular troop. The Skiavoros is I think one of their oldest. No one seems to use it though. He's a bit expensive. Almost as much as an Overdron and might as well spend a little more to get a much better Chrontid.
That would be quite cool to see. We know the EI made the batroids from looking at the umbra so it would stand to reason that it would have created things from looking at its own people, the Ur. I still love the old skiavoros model. He’s stood the test of time for me but a new one is always welcome.
Also the Nexus Operatives are an Ur created sub/slave species using their own dna. So their are other Ur like species of aliens that can easily be brought into a new sectorial. It's just a matter of designing playtesting them.
The Umbra too I think. But it gets closer to Onyx a bit much. Honestly I don't see there being a an EI sectoral. They seem to always work through their many agents rather than themselves in force. One thing CB could do at any time is introduce a whole new alien species that has come to reinforce what's already in the human sphere. Hell, we are only seeing the ones that can survive in Earth-like atmosphere and gravity. There's probably whole armies that only fight on low-gravity worlds with Methane atmosphere. Or whatever worlds that humanity would never even try to live on.
This is very true. There are entire races under the EI that humanity will unlikely see. Depending on how they move the story forwards though an EI based sectorial could occur, especially if it’s current forces are incapable of obtaining the digester it’s after. It may decide to get the job done itself. It’s not likely in the immediate future though if at all but it’s nice to think of.
So, I'm still a bit baffled by this. Okay, so Morats are getting a revamp. But why are they discontinuing everything? The Kurgats and Rasyat are as recent as 2018, and the majority of the rest of the line is from 2015-2017. I get that they would kick out the oldest stuff, but why also perfectly fine and modern sculpts like those? It feel like they're shooting themselves in the foot by having to re-design everything. It's not like there aren't enough models missing from other factions already...
I don't believe that CB would be foolish enough to release action pact from repacks. Even worse would be if they did mixed new with old. So at least around 10 new models for action pack. And at this point why repack everything else? Sure some blisters could be merged to save sku, but boxes are standalone and yet they removed those as well.
They maybe foolish at times but I highly doubt the action back would be a re-pack. The only re-packs can see as likely is Kurgat into 2-pack. It's harder with others since they are all singles. Suryat HMG, Kornak, etc. For Re-sculpt I see new Vanguard, Sogorat, Oznat, Hungries, Zerat, Kornak New sculpts for profiles that only have one: Rasyat All new: Taryot, Tyrok, I'm also guessing a new troop.
Action Pack will be all new miniatures as its a convention release. I can see some of the sculpts coming back in repacks like with the Code One Boosters though.
The old Morat starter resculpted would make up 6 out of 10 models. Morat Vanguard box could be getting a resculpt sine if the starter set's Vanguard are getting redone. I believe Kornak &/or Anyat could be part of the action pack plus a Zerat as well. Maybe a Hungry would be in there too. The Suryat HMG might be part of the pack as well. But we can't forget about the important Raktorak. 3 Combi Vanguard 1 Oznat Combi Rifle 1 Sogorat Feurbach 1 Raktorak Combi or Vulkan 1 Kornak 1 Zerat Combi 1 Hungry 1 Suryat HMG
In some cases they could do Haramaki / Magister rework with rename. Magister box that was discontinued before MO rework was 2018 IIRC. We were confirmed that it'll not be repack, but we still know nothing about incoming profile and fireteam changes.
