Which faction will get the Action Pack this year?

Yeah, there are older Sectorials that needed to be released first.

 

Damn. I was hoping for something a little more than that. Hey ho.

 

What a waste, morats are quite new and good looking. They could have updated their profiles, maybe release some few new sweet things and be done. But no, they have to waste entire year worth of the new big thing on a "recently" rerelease faction.
But puting work into rebalancing something old without selling entire action pack isn't motivating enough for CB. I'm getting more and more anxious for this game as time goes on.

 

@infyrana Looks like that out of production is making way for a new Morat pack. Guess we don't have to rush out and grab Morat minis in danger of being discontinued.

 

Same here. I didn't expect much and it was somewhat obvious that it'll be morats but still... they could at least wait a year or something between them going oop and releasing new stuff. Between that and Nomads/Ariadna getting a year of repacks for Code One the new releases look really dim

 

I happy for those of us who wanted to get into Morats or needed to finish their armies. This action pack should be great for getting into the MAF sectorial. So which models from the discontinuation will be in the Booster packs?

 

Seeing how great the Shas and MO update was, I can see Morats getting better when the new action pack drops.

I agree. I also think that newer unit sculpts like Kurgats, Vulkan Oznat, Raysat, will not change. And most of the units, Yoagats, Rodoks, Suryats, etc...would not have their models changed either. But Vanguard, Raktorak, Zerats, maybe Daturazi, Kornak, Anyat, Sogarat Feuerbach should get resculpted. The I believe we will see the Tyrok Hunter & Taryot Dropsuit remotes in the action pack. Those units alone would be enough for a full ten model box set.

 

Morats was the first faction to be so drastically redesigned, so on that perspective, they are quite old, I am not saying other sectorials are not older.

 

Welp. Since I have all the Morats I could ever need, that's going to be a pretty cheap year.

 

I think the action pack will update the units from the Morat starter and add the hunter and dropsuits who have no minis so far. Maybe the new sculpts will be miles better than the older ones and you might want to get them or one/two minis.

I know the feeling. At least we can wait and see what they look like. So we can choose wether they are worth it for us or not.

 

Oh, to not have Pokémon syndrome and feel the need to buy everything… but here I’m pretty safe as I promised not to do combined as my friend has them all. So it’s his wallet that will be taking the hit. Does give me options for birthdays and Christmas.

 

I'm safe from the Morat variant. Conversions are the driving force of my purchases.

 

Oh I wish to not have that syndrome as well... thankfully I can now hold off on anything Morat related, but I'm hoping to make a dent into CA soon.

I'm afraid for when they finally get Haqq underway - I feel this year might be expensive.

 

It’s generally the driving force behind my purchases after I get the main army. I just bought another box of janissaries so I could convert one up with a haqqi spitfire. I want to proxy them as asawira as I prefer them over the mini available. Plus this way I have all the profiles for sure.

 

Oh god, if they release new haqqi my wallet will bleed money. I just bought quite a few for both ramah and bahram…
