Supongo que os habéis dado cuenta, pero el certificado Wildcard del foro (*.corvusbelli.com) ha expirado.
You mean "their IT is underpaid or incompetent enough to go on a holiday and cheerfully allow annual certificates to lapse, resulting in significant downtimes a third year in a row".
Recaping: certificated expired, but if you accepted it anyway (gosh, it was valid hours ago, way different than revocated because there was a security breach), what you got was a page with: but... So who put the forum into maintenance mode? And why?
Who knows... It could be the former IT guy, who now is in dev team... Or the actual one from his house simply putting the forum in standby until monday
Interesting, the shop has another cert, also for *.corvusbelli.com. One used by forum expired 2021-12-16 (current expires 2023-01-18). The one served by the shop works from 2021-06-01 to 2022-06-30.
How is this shiptposting? should I have put red text and explained with detail why posters above should not, even as a joke, infer the above mentioned, especially written in a way that infers the person has insider knowledge, when they do not?
Speaking of shitposting… How about you just go away instead of baselessly accusing people of being nazis?
ah yes, the anti-moderator team strikes again... (i suposse, with blocked people is dificult to be sure)
The certificate for infintythegame.com expired at the end of June. If that domain is no longer being used, it should be redirected to infinitytheuniverse.com, otherwise, the certificate should really be updated to avoid all the security risk notifications.
Oh, look, it's that time of the year again. Who could have predicted the need to renew certificates? Especially for the game's main page? And then when they lapse again, who could notice and renew them within at least 30 days? Certainly not whoever still does IT for CB. Nu-uh. Would take an augur, maybe somebody with the forethought of Sun Tze or Machiavelli. Not doable for a mere mortal, no.
Anyway it returns "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable" once you tell the browser to shut up and continue. So bad cert plus the front server unable to talk with the back end one. The life of computing in the clod (not a typo).
