This! I thought I was missing content from my core box and then I found out that there where more things under the black tray.

Aha! Just got my address confirmation from Spiral Galaxy Games for delivery to my parents in the UK they're also giving the option to change to another UK address if anyone is concerned about that. Says their stock is still pending, but it sounds like it'll be soon. Now to work out how much a courier is going to set me back
Oh, yes, it's absolutely unofficial. But, by the same logic, so is the Aristeia mod (as ojodekuervo made both) and that has most definitely not been struck down, despite CB being very aware of it for quite a while and it (arguably) competing with sales of a product they are still making and marketing. So it would set a very strange precedent for them to decide the Defiance materials are out of bounds, considering they have declared no intention to continue marketing or re-release the product. Obviously, it would still be polite to run it by them before you do upload. But I can't see any real reason for them to deny you.
Thats precisely the reason. The game was a KS only. No retail releases. No re-releases in future KS... Why offer materials for a game you cant get? (and for free) Why they must give you the oportunity to play the game with proxies (for free) if you didnt got the game?
A pdf of the campaign books won’t be enough to play the game. Needed are also the tiles, and the rather large number of cards and tokens, and the dice. I suppose one could go to the trouble of making all of this material, but who is going to go to that trouble? Scan the documents for personal use, but don’t share them, except maybe with those people who are playing the game with you.
Red said it best. There can be value in having digital copies of things beyond simple piracy. But it's worth adding that they're literally "offering" us nothing. We'd be the ones putting the work in uploading and scanning, and because Defiance is purely in the reseller's market now, it wouldn't cost them a penny. All we'd ask from them is permission to do the aforementioned work. They could literally just send a one-word email either for or against it in response, and that would be enough.
Well, after deciding he couldn't be bothered even trying to deliver it yesterday, Bartosz of DPD actually summoned the effort to deliver my copy to my parents' house today, much excitement! Of course, when I ordered I hadn't anticipated the plague and was still seeing my parents twice a year as I visit them in the UK and they came to visit us in the tropics. Now to look up couriers: Parcelforce: Hahaha, no. Yodel: That country doesn't even exist mate! FedEx: £400 *falls out of chair* UPS: Website breaks trying to generate a quote DPD: £110 - okay, that seems more reasonable DHL: £120, and they clear it through customs for me - looks like it's coming via a big yellow plane!
So the megalodron mission seems to be integrated at the end of the core box campaign book. The core box seems to include 4 small initiative cards for torso, arms and lower extremeties, and 4 magnum enemy cards for the same. Is there supposed to be one large enemy card for mega as well? I appreciate things may have changed since the above posted inventory
Official announcement: Print error in expansion tiles https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/corvusbelli/infinity-defiance/posts/3349296 I am genuinely surprised that no one noticed so far
See? This? This is exactly how this should be handled. Transparency about the issue, about how it affects the customer, taking the responsibility and all the (I'd expect quite high) cost of remanufacturing and replacing the affected items. Promise of staying in touch with the customer base about the progress of the solution and remembering that many backers could have moved addresses which was an issue during the campaign, thus ensuring that prior to shipment the backers are contacted for current shipping address. THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE. Nothing but praise, CB, well done. Slow clap.
Huh I remember wondering about the funky alignment of expansion tiles but not bothering too much with it as there was just sooo much stuff. Now we can all cut the original misprints smaller for correct grids for homebrew missions.
How the hell are you supposed to align Gromoz's bag with flat surface on the leg? Unlike 3d renders belt and arm are molded together. And belt is so thin it's gonna break
