Yeah there's nothing wrong with her, just wondered if there was a reason you were paying the premium upgrade other than rule-of-cool
The main reason for me to choose Kendrat over a normal Krakot is the fact that she is a Character which matters for some scenarios (like Panic Room) and several Classifieds. Ikari has limited access to both Characters as well as Veteran/Elite/HQ troops so having another character can matter a lot.
Diggers are really nice DZ guards, large teardrop template and effectively 2W makes them great at protecting against a rush or AD trooper. They're OK in CC if they get the charge but 21 isn't super reliable in defense even with NBW. Grenades can dig out infiltrators in SuppFire near your DZ but PH12 isn't super reliable. Triphammers are an awesome novelty. For every time you roll an ODD or ARM +4 you'll probably get possessed by an enemy hacker. They're damn good if they can engage in your own terms but have an enormous glowing weakspot to hacking or anything that targets BTS. Not being able to repair it back up to full wounds is a minor nerf compared to most TAGs considering Ikari's fairly poor engineers and it's low Gizmokit rolls.
The Triphammer thematically to work well to me. A great TAG for busting up some work organizers and crowd control but not a true military grade TAG. Up my Ikari alley.
Yeah, I really like the profile both in rules and theme. It's an absolute bully but will fold to anything that can actually stand up to it.

I'm finding 14 order armies can really screw with your opponent's head. "Wait, 14? What's not on the board? What can they drop in? What's hidden? Where could it be hidden? I gotta turtle up! OH GOD WHY?!?" OK, so not that bad, but it can make them adjust their tactics and change things for now reason, which can only help you
Especially if you do groups of 9 and 5! I used a Digger on the weekend with my Yu Jing. I took the 14pt chain rifle one. Booty I got a Mulit-rifle. Worth it to just put into suppression and defend an area.

And now with the new rules update, Ikari has more toys! Two new units: Taowu, Arslam with Lieutenant! (why is druze chief in Ikari?) and finally Scarface get a duo and Ikari gets wildcards (Brawlers, Bounty Hunters and diggers!) Nice changes!
And this is now a thing! Before we were limited to one Brawler. I figure in Ikari, doing pure teams is not going to be something.
