Conversion thread! what've you got going on?

My first conversion that will see the table I think. (My only other conversion was a securitate feuerbach just before it got announced/released)

Took a big old spitfire from old odalisque, and cut out the Rafiq/Shihab attachment point from the rifle option. Only need to glue it and liquid putty the gap. It will be used for Red Fury Rafiq FO.

(top of picture was scale comparison to see what would work as red fury)



I'm happy my odalisque survived the operation if I ever need to convert a sitting down troop.

 

S3 REMs come in 4 flavors. By attachment I mean the weapon can be aligned (square peg) and glued to the REM and it has a nice mechanical attachment point look. Both the rifle and hmg has it but the concept picture only show it on HMG. My only other experience is nomad REM, which looked more like a custom REM-specific weapon that only glue by a spherical blob. I love the haqq look.

So I took out that peg and square mount from the Rifle weapon option to put it in the spitfire handle instead. With that done, I can now put my new spitfire into the rafiq weapon slot/port and use it as Red Fury.

I just realized, the Rafiq have no way of reloading that mounted standard-issued rifle, unless it has a tiny droid arms


Edit: if you mean RF attachment as Red Fury, yeah! the new haqq FO Remote got a new FTO Red Fury option that can link in duo. It is epic! As it keeps its utility too (FO/Sensor/Flash).

 

Just the profile. I just bought a new box and they did not update it with aditional bit. As the box itself is recent, but prior to the new loadout, i doubt we'll ever see it so i'll convert one.

 

Speaking of Spitfires!


These are my two Odalisques with Spitfire for the redesign of my QK force. I had to go with Aleph ones because I was just out of Haqq ones (and I wanted to finish these two fast)

thanks, I call them 40mm REMs, and somehow jumped from that to 40mm=S4

 

So, I had this Anaconda laying around, and I wanted to field a Shakush... Little head swap and there, a sacrifice has been made. CB can now release the official model.

"But they have different silhouettes", you might say! Well, to an issue if you have a good cutter, magnets and some plasticard! The 40mm S6 snaps perfectly inside the 55mm S7.

Waiting for a upsized printed spitfire to complete the model, but that should be a simple enough add.

 

Annie came with a 40mm originally anyway, you can see the studio model is still on the smaller base.

 

Thanks man, didn’t know that you could change the appearance of the Anaconda so drastically with only swapping the head.
I’ll have to do one of my own.

 

IKR? I wasnt even gonna do it, but a friend said something about the original head looking way more MO than Haqq and it started bugging me so much I had to do it

Looks truly good! Did you just squish the legs together? Because the legs on the female SWC Alguaciles look to be spread much more apart to me.
