We're living in a cyberpunk settings, where we can implant artificial sensory organs, hacking devices under the skin when needed, and miniatures can have their own contextual differences. If you look closely the demon-girl Clockmaker has horns, a tail, and face implants, which back up the suspicion that she has other modifications which boost up the biotechnical shield. And, does wearing a mask necessarily give you BTS 3? Zenit-7 has 0 BTS while wearing a mask, and some Hassassins also have 0 BTS while wearing a helmet which covers their ENTIRE HEAD. Meanwhile, Interventors have BTS 9 by wearing a cool hacker-tights and a VR headset. Reverend Moiras have ARM 3 solely by wearing some kind of swimsuit, while Intruders need to perfectly cover up their legs and torso with plates, to have the same armor integrity. Which makes me cautiously conclude, that contemporary measures of combat equipment would not always fit onto this game settings, which is totally fine since we need some blank spaces where designers could do whatever they want, if it's within a minimal amount of consistency.
... which *would* be a form of BTS, so my point stands :D Ah, so she's supposed to be a *demon*! I really thought she was a catgirl (probably because there was a catgirl Daktari once). Hm. All good points. Although now I'd really like to see a detailed fluff explanation what BTS stands for and what equipment is used for that. I wonder if Infinity RPG digs into it... All right, coming back to my original question from today - I see that there's a Parvati render presented in the Freak Wars video. So, guys... what do you think? Is it just me, or does she look like she has a dislocated knee to you, too? I admit I tried putting myself into a similar pose, but I decided that my medical insurance doesn't cover it, so I stopped ;)
I am really confused by this. The Bearpode that goes in a team with the supervisor doesn't have a shotgun, and even more, the only Polaris option available in C1, and this is supposed to be a C1 product, can't use a shotgun either, so why sculpt it with that weapon option?
Even more confusingly, I noticed it has a chain rifle on it's back too. So it has both weapon options I guess?... if you do some conversion work??? Maybe it'll have a second arm option
They did this to sculpt only one bear. You can put the single Bearpode option or you can align Masha and play the Team
The new varangian guard has a trench hammer in one hand, I haven't seen this weapon in these profiles, so I think there will be a change/add soon for this troop. ^^
Of course they did it so they could just do one. I'm just baffled by how they went about it. So are they just gonna give every future model one of every weapon it could take so they just have to make one. Of course not. I can understand wanting to make one big model that covers everything. But I don't know why CB is so allergic to having multiple weapon options of units its they are only ever going to release one of. If you are going to make a full box, fantastic please do. I love those full unit kits. But for single unit blisters and the big boys. Give us at least two options for weapons/equipment. Rather than tease us with the prospect of one day getting a model for the profiles we actually use. They often just do a melee weapon for the universal proxy. But this give it everything just reeks of laziness to me.
Fashion has never made a lot of sense. But it's no worse than sexy _uniformed_ bodyguards. Rather than ahem, disarming arm candy.
I prefer like that. I dont want extra arms or weapons. It makes the figure cost more and makes me spend more money for parts i never gonna use.
"Armour against things that aren't bullets, blades, and bludgeons" is my favourite description of BTS.
I'm waiting for someone to explain to me how my science armor can stop someone's wifi/bluetooth attack on my armor, while also stopping "nanites" from eating my toes, AND getting a cold from someone's flu gun. :D
A series of quantronic nanobodies use advanced machine learning algorithms to dynamically generate electromagnetic interference, produce a Faraday cage effect, or act as synthetic antibodies. This is made possible due to the application of neomaterials to create an unstable molecular matrix that can be rapidly reconfigured to in response to the incoming threat vector. Through technobabble, anything is possible!
It's very easy - all of those attacks target BTS, so therefore your swimsuit / mask / fully enclosed powered armor protect you.
@08:40 Why we got a Tinbot in the box, when the combi-profile of the new character can not take the tinbot? Or, the other way around, why we get a character that is not WYSIWG? @bostira please fix the profile. And when someone of you nice guys is already on it, please fix Jujaks too, they lack either core or wildcard
Guys, as we're speaking of future releases - is it true that new Probots are coming? Is there any concept art or renders available?
