Arguably 11 things they do not need, if you count the Ariadna. I guarantee either the Evader or the Sombra will be the Operation exclusive mini you cannot get in the future starter box.
They don't make starter boxes out of Operation ones any more, haven't since Red Veil, instead they make Action Packs out of Operation & Beyond.
Thanks! I have not paid attention to previous Code One releases. It was factions I did not play. That makes a lot more sense, and is a lot more useful for players trying to buy separately from the two-player stuff.
Sry, didn’t read all posts. My opinion: this Nomad/Corregidor starter box is one of the best CB had ever made. I‘m mostly a WYSIWYG player and all models and profiles are 100% playable and the Profiles would be chosen bei the most player 50-80% of the time. I‘m not such an egoist to see that package from my perspective but from the view of a new Corregidor player and therefore it’s great. I have only the misgiving that we have to wait very long till we see the updated special weapons for the Alguacil and we have to live with that mess-up.
I bet the EVAder, since it's AVA 5 in Corregidor, so there is a slot for a box of 4... and they can even add a tinbot for a 5 model box at 55 bucks...
You mean 3+1 (with tinbot) box for 55 bucks? With something like a feuerbach getting a blister later.
nah, they will just put a single EVAder in a box of other models, New aggie SWC box, 3 aggies and an EVAder, new wildcats, 3 wildcats and an EVAder.
Unlikely to be a new SWC box for Aggies. Neither Fusiliers or Zhanshi had a SWC box redo to match their more pronounced winter themes.
The Teutonic Knights box is 3 teutons + 1 specops (granted, they don't have a tinbot in the box... but they do in the profile) for 50€. Adding a tinbot to a 4 models box doesn't seem like a stretch to me... But yeah, Tourniquet is likely right. I can imagine a 2 EVAder + tinbot + another hellcat or tomcat, and another box of 2 EVAder + 2 combi Wildcats, for example...
Yeah.. Grenzers don't have any fireteam option of their own, while Evaders do. I also think a box of 3 Evader + 0~1 random something sounds rather probable. Or maybe that's just what I anticipate
alguaciles see 0 play in n4 unfortunately it is a good starter for new players, a mix of different units with fun skills; for established players, well... unoptimal boxes are the norm, starters are not products for them
Did you entirely read what I wrote? You rip out a part of my statement without considering the rest of it. And Alguaciles are a valid LT option for Corregidor in N4, if you take two to hide your LT, cause the SWC reduction of the other profiles in Corregidor can compensate some of its own SWC costs.
There is no reason to ever do that because jaguars and wildcards are way too good technically every profile is playable but not always "playable" jaguars were never going to be in the starter anyway, so kinda moot point; it is just going to be crushing for happy new players to learn that most of their starter will be warming hobby shelf at home when they start competing (Icestorm buyers, hello); all on CB and their sense of balance/faction design General n3->n4 swc reduction for heavy infantry
At least Alguaciles have a sense in Sectorial, you can have a Core for the Lt. and a Jaguar Haris. In Vanilla Jaguars outshine every other line troopers but that a problem of every Vanilla army. You have a bunch of similiar choice and one of those it's better optimised for the job. The 15 model limit just exacerbate this.
Counter offer, you take a jag core and a jag haris and throw in some useful wildcards and better bodies for points. the aggie LT costs SWC and gives you nothing for it beyond the privilege for being a squishy nerd that dies, just take the brigada LT, at least its somewhat tanky carries a pair of relevant weapons and gets to hangout beyond a -6 firewall with an excellent bodyguard hacker.
I prefer Jags in deploy to not be limited in a 8" bubble. I like them around watching corner. That why I prefer the Algua core, having a paramedic it's good too. For me the Lt. option is viable in Coreggidor, usually my list tend to have problems with point not SWC.
